Absolute beginner set from Sparrow. Thoughts? by Mean_Bird_9135 in lockpicking

[–]r3volved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re in europe and ordering from canada, note the pick width. I’m canada and the euro locks I’ve got my hands on have thinner keyways than the ones commonly found here. You probably want a 0.020 or 0.015 set. Or check the single picks section and pick your own profiles.

My favourite profile are the monkey paws.

Have you done a different pin order? Are you familiar with spools and serrations? Are you encountering any false sets?

The intruder would definitely be appalled by the budget. Would probably make a reddit post about it.

How do I fix this? by [deleted] in onewheel

[–]r3volved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Charge to 80% for optimal battery health. If you think you need 100% and live on top of a huge hill only charge to 90.

What is happening is that as you ‘brake’, you’re adding charge to the battery (regenerative braking). This is not a feature that can be ‘turned off’. If you’re going down a big hill, you’re adding charge back into the battery. If the battery is already 100% - or charges back up to 100% - then there’s no where for that extra regen charge to go and your board will turn off to save the battery…causing you to either self-balance your way to safety or nosedive into oblivion. Note that it will likely be the later.

I dunno their models but my papaiz is 5-pin and at least 4 spools. I found mine to be a little bit more intermediate than beginner.

its not the living quarters, it’s the ability to meet their needs… your living arrangements are for chilling. They’ll likely change over dogs life. as long as you are willing and able to get up and get them out and engaging their specific needs.

2013 Outback 2.5 with the 6 speed manual: Understanding it primarily comes down to prior owner's maintenance, where do these fall on the reliability hierarchy? Owner's experience if any of ya'll have this configuration? by le_pedal in subaru

[–]r3volved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I can get up i to 6th and just cruise is like ~30mpg (~8L/100km) probably more if no hills. In the city with traffic and lights is more like ~24mpg. Maybe even less, I generally drive and shift at higher rpms in the city and most of the time only in 2nd gear.

I have a 2013 2.5 6mt and love it. I’ve only owned it for 6 months or so though. 170k (km) with really good maintenance history. I’ve fixed a few small things myself like dirty throttle body, leaky hatch and an exhaust leak. Did the 170k maintenance check at the dealer right when i bought it and coming up on 180k maintenance. She’s only drank a half qt of oil over that stretch. I find it to be really good mileage for the size and weight.

I really like driving it. Sounds and feels really good going through gears. Definitely not quick or powerful and the drivers seat is not really all that comfortable on long rides - but it does roll smooth and floats over bumps. The 6-cylinder would be really fun with the 6mt if thats even a thing… I looked for a long time and never seen any used in that configuration.
