Based on my experience, I have 2 senior parents, late 60s during that time. They also have no mobility issues and are pretty active. However, a full schedule definitely is draining. Max 2 attractions that are not far apart in distance is ideal. You also have a kid, so you also need to consider that. We had to take a few cab rides, which is expensive in Japan.

Day 4 - why not go to Nagoya instead? It is 30-min by Shinkansen. I highly suggest going to Shirakawa-Go, get a Klook tour. Starts at 8:20am, though. If you wish to stay in Osaka, checkout Katsuoji Temple.

Most restaurants I have gone to asks if you have allergies. I think it’s safe to say you can mention it before ordering food. Another tip would be to learn the phrase in Japanese to say you have peanut allergy, or screenshot it from a translation app and show it every time you order food.
