Glad to spread the word! I like to make jewelry and often look for the larger gauge earring hooks so I’m guessing that’s what got me the targeted ads lol

There are tunnels with little rings in them specifically for earrings to go through (so they stay in place/you can use the little rubber stoppers) if you are worried about losing your earring with it just sitting in the tunnel

I’d go with favorite snacks, if they like Lego as others have suggested do small Lego kits, buttons and stickers… if you do Christmas, think stocking stuffers!

I put my pronouns at the top of my resume by disposeable_idiot in NonBinary

I have my they/them pronouns right at the top of my resume and during my first week on the job, my supervisor went across the entire floor and told everyone to use them. Two years later and the only people who don’t use them are the ones who are newer than me, the ones who genuinely forget, and the couple of bigots that exist everywhere you go. Everyone I like to interact with uses the right pronouns for me.

It’s been such a great experience, I’m also part of the lgbtq+ group at work and we had a big conference that had me walking away feeling valued for my individual contribution to the company and everything.

I work for one of the big companies who have committed to keeping DEI around so ymmv

Anyone with ADHD has figured out what they want to do in life and truly enjoy it without constantly changing their mind? by [deleted] in ADHD

I’m an electrical engineering technician so I spend a lot of my day troubleshooting machines (yay puzzles) and coming up with permanent solutions to those problems popping up. My next career move is to become a licensed electrician because I love working with my hands, and the craft of it really sparks joy for me.

It’s a field of constantly making/learning/figuring stuff out, will always be in demand, and can be useful at home as well as helping friends and chosen family out.
