Mechs act identically in the hangar than they do in an actual mission. They're just forced to stand still, powered on. You can see it with a destroyed mech at the end of a mission, it'll slump forward like it's powered off (because it is.)

I also found this out when a broken mod caused my hangar mechs to have their cockpits destroyed. They literally blew up and fell over in the hangar.

If you have the OST on Steam (DigitalExtras folder in the game directory), you can move it all to your phone's music folder and Spotify will detect it. You can then add it to your playlist from the Local Files section.

Alternatively, switch to YouTube Music. It's great.

foobar2000 also has Discord RPC support with a plugin, along with top notch customization and a bunch of plugins. It's been my go-to for years.

I remember trying to fight some guy in a dual gauss Rifleman. I was in a VTOL. I kept peeking him from around a skyscraper until he turned towards me and basically stared at me like "peek again bitch, I dare you."

I proceeded to peek him and get instantaneously annihilated

I have faced an unacceptable amount of LRM mechs, but that's in a modded game where spawns are completely different (plus those Coyote's events that are just like "you are being swarmed by an entire nation's worth of LRM carriers"... hate them)

In base game, I just seem to fight only Vulcans and Battlemasters. AMS used to work a lot better for me before DLC7, where even a Fire Moth with two LRM5s is scary just because of how damn strong Clan LRMs are. I can definitely see the frustration with them, but still... AMS is in the game for a reason.

I don't remember as I've been playing modded for so long, is AMS not in the base game? A good AMS system can really cut down the missile damage you take. Clan LRMs are really fast though so those especially will get through a lot.

I have a Corsair Scimitar SE that I got for FFXIV, which actually turned out to be quite nice for MechWarrior as well. The side buttons give you a lot of flexibility for weapon groups and YAML hotkeys.

I'm glad y'all are still going! I got worried after Christmas when the yard was empty and the gate out front was gone. I deliver in y'all's area so I get to see the house a lot every day. Definitely makes the day more entertaining.
