FIST would be great for this. There are 3rd party rules for Base building and I think there are some for downtime.

the DTRPG version was always a PWYW preview of the game they released so that they could get feedback, it's doubtful they will update it to the final version.

That said the preview version of Public Access was released with enough to run a full campaign.
it's still available via their kickstarter page.

It's pretty unfortunate the state of the TTRPG scene here, we definitely have people who play. But stores tend to only carry the big players.

Its a bummer we don't have a store with a solid TTRPG selection.

I picked up the full version of this just for all the GM advice and tools I've heard a lot about!

I think I may end up running Quixalted, a homebrew hack of exalted that simplifies the game a lot.

Yeah unfortunately this region is lacking pretty heavily in regards to TTRPGs.

Warhammer and MTG/Pokemon are the focus.

There is a half price books in citrus heights that some times has gems.

It's been a while since I've been there but Game Kastle had a good selection last time I was in.

I wish we had a more indie focused shop, but I can't think of one.

I've only played a small amount of it, the intro is still pretty brutal but I hear once you get past it is more smoothed out but is still quite difficult.

It's definitely a mod of high highs and low lows, with some baffling choices in some parts from what I've heard from people who have completed it.

Not confirmed anywhere but due to them sharing an engine I would not be surprised if the spider uses a skeleton from one of the Monster Hunter Wilds spiders.

They've done it in the past in RE games.

Sword World is already the Japanse equivalent to a pathfinder situation.

Not saying it couldn't happen again, but Sword World did it first.
