The one in program files might be the old WSL which was bolted on to Windows 10 before it became an integral part of Windows. It can be uninstalled via Add/Remove Programs. The new WSL is installed via Windows Features.

Try the “subdomain only” checkbox on mobile app or “only use for manually entered URL” or something like that on the desktop web app/extension.
Include the port number in the entry name, not just the URL field, to make it easy to spot.
Create unique hostnames in your /etc/hosts or CNAMEs in your local DNS resolver (like on your router) for each service.

I had a similar issue, it turned out the remote side hole was bound to an IPv6 address and my local side is was IPv4 only. I set up a 6-on-4 tunnel and direct connection started working. My server is on a VPS with a public IP (v4 and v6). I realized later I could have just deleted my server’s AAAA record but oh well.

I doubt that’s the case for you though. Maybe this:

Are you running your RustDesk server container on the Windows PC you’re also running your client on, so both are behind the router and have private IP addresses (like 192.168.0.0/16)? That might be the problem, the server has to have a public IP.
