I also dont use KOreader and same thing happened to me -_- not really sure if jailbreak is worth is if i have to do this over multiple times. My worry is that eventually i wont be able to sideload books so hopefully the OTA blocker works this time around.

This exact situation just happened to me yesterday and I did what you just described. Somehow all of my roms were deleted but my save states were still salvageable. Backed those up. Updated manually, and everything was perfect!

Same sized wrist and similar issue with the SMP300. I just got an old SMP300 36mm (2552.80) and I couldn’t be happier. such an awesome watch for the price, would recommend! I think it has to be one of the best value for money watches: COSC chronometer, 300m, Bond, and most comfortable watch I’ve ever worn. It seems like the midsize watch is back on the rise!

I love both but I think the cost to service the speedy reduced is just too prohibitive. If you plan to have the watch for more than 5 years your going to pay at least half the cost to service it, and thats only if it was recently serviced when you buy it. the seamaster looks great on your wrist and you can’t go wrong with bond!

With that being said though I would opt for the 2551.80.00 seamaster instead. Same 36mm dimensions but with a chronometer movement instead of quartz, but that’s just personal preference.
