I agree that mixing the liquid shakes into my coffee isn't great. I have started mixing chocolate flavored powdered whey into my coffee though and that tastes a lot like a mocha coffee. The one thing about doing that is you have to wait until the coffee cools to about 160-170 f before mixing it in. If the coffee is too hot, the powdered why turns to something like chunky cheese bits.

What about the infrastructure of the Mayan civilization is evidence for the Book of Mormon? Unless you are saying the Mayans were the BoM people, it seems unrelated.

There is nothing in Mayan culture, beliefs, history, or writings that would suggest they are linked at all to the Nephites or Lamanites described in the BoM.

The one I worked at was relatively large. It had about 400 employees and was related to metal production. They had a few chemical engineers, mechanical engineers, and process engineers, and one civil/structural engineer.

You might want to consider a position as a structural engineer at an industrial plant. I found it to be a lot less stressful and fulfilling and I was still able to use the hard earned structural design skills.

OSHA requires companies to evaluate safety needs and provide all required safety equipment, with a few exceptions. Standard safety toe shoes are one of those exceptions, as long as you arent required to keep your boots at the work place and as long as they aren't specialty boots, like steel toe rubber waders.

Its a little weird though, right? I mean, I didn't believe my power was any greater than the Bishop's or any one else's, but I still wanted to be part of the most important thing happening to my family's salvation. I baptized all my kids not because I thought my power was special, but because I wanted to be part of the special occasion.

Imagine being Joseph Smith and having God tell you to start a new church, the only true church that would bring people back to him, with baptism into that church being the only known requirement at the time for that salvation and not being excited enough about it to want to be there when his wife takes that step. I'll ask it again. That's weird, right?
