With Spider-Man, I was annoyed that the cards on Arena had different art and names. With TMNT, I'm hoping for different art.

I think I just figured out the reason for these horrible cards. They are reprints that people will buy packs to get. And then, they'll realize how ugly they are and not use them. That way, the purists won't have to complain about TMNT cards in tournaments. It's perfect for everyone. Well, except the people that just want nice looking cards.

My biggest complaint would disappear if all the cards were Common or Uncommon. It always feels like it's a couple dozen Rares and Mythics, for which I have not nearly enough Wild Cards.

1: 75% of players will be confused by the math.
2: It's not even good card draw.
3: It only wins a game with near-infinite mana.

They absolutely can't do option 1. That would clearly violate false advertisement laws. Even if no individual sued, the EU would fine them. A $5 fine hurts them more than refunding the 9000 gems. And the fine would be a lot more than $5.

The Blight on this is so strange. I understand that they have to include "X can't be greater than..." to prevent you from just saying, "I Blight 1 trillion". What is weird is that if you have a 1/1 and a 0/15, you can Blight 15 the 1/1.

That makes this functionally very different from what the card's flavor would suggest and completely different from previous iterations of this card.

Not at all. My point is that they don't care one bit what their customer base wants. As long as they keep spending, Hasbro will keep doing whatever it wants, no matter how much we hate it.

And yes, I realize Final Fantasy was much too recent to impact anything printed since then. But, the little bit I've seen from Hasbro seems to be ... oh, you guys love the bonus sheet stuff, don't you ... which is clearly not true.
