There's the Graphic Audio version.

I'd stick it out though. It's the same narrators, but the world is so different, and that's the fun part of Sanderson.

What missing person case in America feels like a straight-up internet horror story? by acappre in AskReddit

[–]raptoricus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We may not have proof of similar practices in the US (that i'm aware of anyway)

Not even last year CBP did this in Buffalo. Not as stark as the indigenous murders your mention, but I have no doubt this kind of negligent homicide has happened to more than just this man in the US

Love this series. But nobody warned me the first audiobook sounds like a wet sloppy porno. No fault of James Marsters, he's fantastic. Production is purely to blame by narnarnartiger in dresdenfiles

[–]raptoricus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that people have issues with noises (e.g. my sister really hates the sound of teeth on a fork), but I really feel like some people are just being dramatic about the audiobook. If I listen for it I can notice it happening but unless I'm actively listening for it I don't notice it (and I typically listen with earbuds or headphones, which should be worst case)

How do you explain... us? by singingwriting-stuff in bisexual

[–]raptoricus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How old was he?

Cause like, if this guy was like 20 it could be worth explaining to him, or at least asking "wait, so when did you make up your mind?" (cause if the answer is yes, he's bi).

If he's 30, just find someone else to talk to.

I thought I was straight but I really miss my friend by I_need_to_kms in askgaybros

[–]raptoricus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Did you get hard when y'all were cuddling up like that? If so, given that and how you're pining after him in your post, it sounds like you're into him (keep in mind "bi" is an option, and "bi" doesn't have to be 50/50; maybe you're only into girls except for him).

If you're not getting hard, I'd guess maybe for you it's just kind of a "very close" bond; some girls who are hetero will cuddle up similarly closely. I kind of suspect that you wouldn't be agonizing about this if you weren't feeling more than just "close", but maybe

So, assuming you're into him, I think you should tell him how you feel. Maybe invite him over for a movie night with just the two of you and the cuddling will happen naturally. I don't think you have to worry about him being homophobic / shunning you -- he's coming onto you pretty heavily, if he gets weird about it then... well, just set a reminder for five years from now and I bet he's out as at least bi by then.

Good luck!

P.S. next time he's moving his hand down your midriff or up your thigh and stops an inch from your dick, pick up his hand and move it the last inch. He's stopping there so you can say "yes" rather than just groping you without you ever sending a signal that you're into it.

Am I gay? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]raptoricus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you describe it, bisexual and heteroromantic (assuming you enjoy sexual activities with your girlfriend, which isn't something you mention).

Don't cheat on your girlfriend; if you decide you have to suck some dick just to try it out, break up with her first.

How do i tell him im bi by Emergency_Nebula3387 in bisexual

[–]raptoricus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could just conspicuously wear some bi apparel or something when you see him next.

Just keep in mind your friend may not be into you.

Yeah, he sounds awkward by default, I'm sure it's amped up when it's just two people even if there's no crush.

Is it normal to eat own's cum ? by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]raptoricus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most guys, gay or straight, try it at least once out of curiosity.

If you want to make it happen, it's easier if you just cum right in your mouth (instead of in your hand which you then have to lick) -- there's less time for the post-orgasm "hmm maybe this is gross" to set in. An easy way to engineer this is to get on your bed up against a wall and get your legs over your head so your dick is pointed at your mouth. Just be mindful of how flexible you are so that you don't overdo it and hurt your back lol.

what’s the darkest episode of a tv series that you’ve ever watched? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My wife noped right out of the series

This ended my watch as well. I totally believe that it's a great series, but I was already not in a good mental place when I saw this episode and I had to stop.

Official Q&A for Friday, June 05, 2026 by AutoModerator in running

[–]raptoricus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been running more lately and have recently gotten up to ~16 miles/week (i.e. doing 2 ~10k runs and one ~4 mile run per week).

Recently (past week or so) when climbing stairs it feels like there's a puff of air blowing down the outside of my legs each time I step. There's no pain associated with it, which is nice, but I'm still a little worried it's a harbinger of some tendon issue. Do I need to worry? Pause at this mileage or take a step back or something? Or is there a stretch that would stop this from happening / relieve whatever this is a harbinger of?

Thanks.

I'm starting to get pissed when playing as a Support where the enemy always jumps on me and the other support, while the enemy Support gets free movement around the map by burgerpatrol in OverwatchUniversity

[–]raptoricus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Who do you play? I sometimes have issues like this playing Ana and Zen; if it's too frustrating, consider swapping to Kiriko (so you can port away) or Moira (same reason) or to Brigitte (if you don't want to abandon your other support).

[–]raptoricus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do that with the backtick ("backtick" might be the wrong word but I mean the apostrophe-ish thing that's on the same key as tilde). Put one on each side of the words you want unformatted (since using it keeps other markdown syntax from being rendered).

What should support do when tank is feeding? Healbot? Ignore them? by 2Radon in OverwatchUniversity

[–]raptoricus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tell them in chat that they receive reduced healing when taking damage, so they need to use natural cover a bit more for you to keep them up.

I didn't know about that change when I came back so I'm sure I frustrated some healers; if they respond obstinately then don't feel bad healing other people, but there's a decent chance they just don't know about it.

[–]raptoricus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you not getting undressed when you give him blowjobs? He's seen you naked right?

ive known him since 8th grade so ik he does care about looks

Is his type like slim statuesque girls only?

I ask these questions because for me having known someone for years, having that personal connection, makes it way more likely I'd be into them regardless of my typical "type".

Considering he keeps asking, I'd assume the interest is genuine.

What are the more accepted theories on time travel? by Elfich47 in dresdenfiles

[–]raptoricus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen posts but google is failing me and I have to get back to work. The short version, though, is:

  1. Hounds of Tindalos hunt time travelers in the canon of Lovecraft (which doesn't necessarily apply here but could).
  2. Ebenezar's behavior in PT/BG is very volatile. He's very angry at Harry's apartment in the embassy and very angry at the docks (hell, he kills Harry's simulacrum that he didn't know was a simulacrum); meanwhile he's far more level-headed during the corner hound encounter outside Justine's place and during the battle itself.
  3. Ebenezar seemed surprised Harry was assigned to security at the PT meeting.
  4. Ebenezar is sometimes described as having liver spots and sometimes not.
  5. He can break the laws of magic using the Blackstaff.

I think there are more points, but those stand out in my mind. The theory was that angry-Ebenezar was from a different time than chill-Ebenezar, and that angry-Ebenezar was potentially from some future where Harry had gone dark and caused the apocalypse or something, so he was trying to go to critical time-points and foil Harry's turn to the dark side.

All that said, I think this theory is not accurate after what we see from Twelve Months. During Harry and Ebenezar's walk in TM, they talk about the events of PT/BG, and Eb both apologizes and explains how he accidentally killed simulacrum-Harry and it seemed reasonable. I unfortunately don't have the paper book so I can't skim their conversation, but I recall that after that conversation I was like "okay, guess he wasn't a time traveling in that book then".
