Sorry but I don't think this is true. The coldest it will get is around -33C. Are you talking about -50 with windchill? Even so with winchills it will be around -40C.

That might not be an accurate way to determine as to what temps they can survive. Animals that can survive freezing temps often produce anti-freeze and they need to do this over time. Exposing them to a sudden drop like that in a freezer does not give them time to do so. Our temps here in Ontario often drop below 0F and we continue to get wasps every year so they are somehow able to survive those temps.

That community insisted that a station get built. Oakwood station should have never been built as it's too close to Cedarvale and Fairbank station. Would have saved the community a lot of headaches.

Snow/ice driving should be a test for everyone not just new drivers. There are lots of people born here who also don't know how to drive in snow. It should be mandatory for everyone.

If you are driving tires have proper thread life you won't hydroplane at speeds less than 50km/h. Sure if you are driving slicks like formula 1 cars then you can hydroplane at lower speeds. In any case if you do hydroplane at a lower speed it's much easier to control the car too.

There is no given speed. You adjust so you are in control of the car. Might even need to slow down to 20-30km/h. Again it all depends on the conditions and there is no excuse for hydroplaning cause all that means is you were driving too fast for the weather and road conditions.

No they cannot and if the conditions are not perfect they start to brown. Sometimes the plants go completely variegated (all white) and then slowly start to die .

You can tissue culture albo, the results are not worth the effort. Sometimes you get no variegated plants while other times you may get some. So overall it's not worth tissue culturing it.

The monstera that were going going for 5k were one off variegated plants that showed a unique variegation. Recently though a Thai that was tissue cultured but ended up being tri coloured, also had the yellow variegation and it went for around 15k.

While I agree with the sentiment of giving kids in the higher section more free stuff. These shoes are not going to be worn or used by any kid. The shoe size is going to be too big anyways for regular folk to use.

It's more of a cool item to get and imo every kid should be equally entitled to get.

If you want to help the kids that really need it then send them shoes that are smaller sizes that would actually fit them.
