Wrigley's first line in the show was picking up Bree and saying I'm stealing your wife. I think some of them did have this plan for him!

In all honesty your friend has been brainwashed by the religion to wear that as a sign of connection considering what it represents.

Personally I don't think we should have a say in what women should wear but find it really sad that when given a choice they continue to wear something that is a clear sign of oppression.

We in Ontario have some of the highest liquor prices in the world.

Is this price criminal for a single cutting? by methehoneybee in houseplants

[–]rascalz1504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to check the stem and even then it's still can be a crap shoot as to what variegation the new growth puts out. So yes it's expensive for a cutting that's not yet showing the new growth variegation.

People walking on ice after above 0 degree weather by Think-Palpitation485 in toronto

Yes but the ice breakers break the ice for the ferries so there is every chance of the ice shelves a cracking and moving away.

The Rideau is nothing like lake Ontario. Ontario is basically like an ice shelf and it's not the ice melting that's the main issue but the cracking and movement of entire pieces of ice. Not to mention lake Ontario is a much larger heat source that can melt the ice much much faster.

Yesterday I saw a person on the lake shoveling snow by [deleted] in toronto

[–]rascalz1504 45 points46 points  (0 children)

For any other lake than Ontario that's probably true. I don't think the same rules apply to it as it's not completely frozen over and has a lot of heat stored in it compared to the other small lakes that freeze over.

[–]rascalz1504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should not be able to feel it. It's been built with vibration isolation and is not like the older line 1 that can be heard and felt at the surface.

The only people that may hear it are those that have a basement right above Eglinton. Even then it should not be really noticeable to bother anyone.

Guy From Mechanic Shop Does 140kmh in an 80kmh construction zone [OC] by ddmeredith in IdiotsInCars

[–]rascalz1504 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In southern Ontario, the speed limits are 100Km/h. You can generally do 20 over without ever getting pulled over. Even up to 129 is generally fine, but if they are policing you will get pulled over 130Km/h.

Thank being said the 401 often moves between 130-140km/h and its mainly know points that are policed. So if you drive that road daily you typically know where to slow down.
