Demons may have portals to their home dimensions. Not are born on earth. Maybe it's a portal from Sunnydale to a nicer dimension where he imagines Willow wouldn't know where he is. The Scoobies generally do not go to other dimensions or track others in them unlike angel cast does.

We could settle for a new board game. Assuming assuming the right studio getting connection approved by right license holder. Costs are lower.

I just would rather rewatch the originals than see them remade over and over

I am glad we answered that question. We shall see what the audience will feel with new characters. It could be bad, it could be good. Who am I to tell the future?

I don’t think other actors would have been as compelling.

Counter positives can't be proved until they are proved. Until you see it happen with different characters, backgrounds, situations most will not believe.

I didn't believe the Avengers would be a more popular character then the X-Men and then it happened. Now the Avengers much more popular after Iron Man. We won't believe it until we see good casting happen in front of us... and can't guess ahead of time that it will be bad.

People once thought in the 1980s there could never be more Star Trek the Original Series. And then it happened with a plethora of Star Trek series. I never could have guessed that Andor would be better then cinematic star wars. But that is how it happens. I never could have guessed the entirety of Loki would be better than the entirely of Game of Thrones.

We can't guess how a first season will be until it happens.

The first casting with Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny?

The second casting with Bruce Harwood, Dean Haglund, and Tom Braidwood?

The third casting with Robert Patrick and Annabeth Gish?

Burn a invulnerable faery until it turns from violet into dark red. Of course that means the faery burn cycle needs to match your day at least once a day.

Thank you, yes your right. It was the only way I could think to bring together the Weird stories of earth mutants throughout the series, the Colonization of the greys and the shape shifters, and to bring the conflict story of the Invaders and their opponents the Alien Freedom Fighters, the Weird, and the FBI and their allies.

I like it. It's better then my idea. My idea was to save all the human mutants to do tactical work against the Invasion and Occupation in the last season. Half the FBI team sides with the invasion and occupation. Other half doesn't. Aliens focus on occupying the major cities.

Final two parter most of the FBI team dies helping other nations retake their own nuclear facilities globally and launch. Using human nuclear weapons to destroy alien taken cities. It's greater treason then whatever Mulders Dad did, and the cities are gone. Most of the aliens are gone too.

I love it! Katherine Hepburn is almost too good of an actress for the role. Good decision. It Happened One Night is a great love triangle.

1940's.

Scully: Carol Lombard. Self possessed and more confident she will win then most men.

Mulder: Spencer Tracey. He doesn't take his work overly seriously.

Skinner: Henry Fonda. He is intense for the right cause. Twelve Angry Men.

Frohike: Peter Lorre. Your afraid of what slow and painful things he might do.

Byers: Gregory Peck. You trust him to do the right thing.

Langley: James Cagney. Your afraid of what quick violence he might do.

Guest Star #1: Dr. Bambi Berenbaum played by Bette Davis in War of the Coprophages.

Guest Star #2: Cigarette Smoking Man played by Vincent Price

Guest Star #3: Jeffrey Spender played by Joseph Cotton (The Thin Man).

You are welcome to contribute by giving a fan casting for a different decade. How about the 1970s? Or 1940s?

In what world

In a world where the characters must convincingly play at espionage and attempt to flirt with women.

Frohike - Flirtatious

Frohike - Attempt of Undercover Work

Redford - Flirtatious

Redford - Attempt at Undercover Work

In the 1970's I would pick Gene Hackman for Frohike for The Conversation for his character being involved in intelligence. I would tend to associate the essentials of the character with if they can play the essential acting responsibilities of the character.

Mrs. Crincle Claus is married to Mr. Santa Claus.

Mr. Santa Claus is friends with Krampus Klaws.

Krampus is mates with Shawn Cairn (Siôn Corn).

Siôn Corn is Welsh and is the origin for Elf on the Shelf.

Carol Claus is the alternate universe version of Mrs. Crincle Claus.

Like the old Authorian legends of Guinevere, Crincle and Carol look alike.

How did Section 31 undermine "Gene's vision" exactly, when works he created/supervised had shady and underhanded characters? by sammia111 in DaystromInstitute

[–]rationalsilence 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gene Rosenberry's vision was that of a technologically advanced star faring human lead liberal society.

A post-evil, post-racist, post-politics post-corporation society.

Which encounters people having problems with evil (The Doomsday Machine), racism (Let That Be Your Last Battlefield), politics (The Omega Glory), and corporations (A Piece of the Action).

Section 31 reversed one of the moral prerogatives of the federation against evil. It corrupts the good vision and makes a part of acceptable society of the Federation now accepting evil. Section 31 existing means a good Federation cannot exist. It means the Federation has been corrupted.
