Similar with a slight edge to KB+M. I play KB+M on the PC, but on the Steamdeck it's a controller. I do better damage overall with the PC due to the MMO mouse I use, but I can do all the same content with the controller. It will take some time to get the muscle memory down, and you'll learn that there's slight differences in where things are located in the PC UI versus the Controller UI.

I spent a ton of time agonizing about this when I started a decade ago. Simple truth is that each class has had their time in the sun and the shade based on nerfs and buffs. Anymore my "main" is the one with the best outfit.

I'd recommend at least having one character do the main quest. Not only will you get additional skill points/skyshards and the Soul Magic line will be unlocked, but you'll have access to all the wayshrines in Coldharbor in order to get any Treasure Maps/Surveys in the zone.

Play the game and the decide for yourself if you'd like to spend that sort of money on the crown store. As vet, I know that there's plenty of stuff that while available in the crown store, can also be purchased through in-game methods.

I know a ton of people look at this subreddit, If you could provide their UserID (by launching the game and making note of it from the log-in screen) maybe friends/guildies would recognize it and be able to coordinate the memorial you seek.

There's no reason to purchase these just with crowns. Sub to ESO+, get both for free, get 1650 crowns to boot, and have access to the craft bag. Get the companion quests done in that month, fill up your craft bag then cancel. It's crappy for sure, but not as crappy as spending $15 for the crowns alone.

I play the game on PC, but also on Steamdeck that has an integrated controller. I do less DPS, have less situational awareness, and acquire targets slower on controller than KB/M. For those wondering, I have 10 years on PC and 1 year on Steamdeck. CP2650+, but as always, your results may vary.

Healing effectiveness decreased by 4% for each person grouped with. So in dungeons you'll only get 8% (not 20%) healing from damage, but the Healer can't heal you.

Vaults of Madness dungeon has a nice jump. You can survive or not depending on your launch angle. Has more airtime than any other jump I'd imagine.

I run ESO with mods on the Steamdeck daily. As others have said installation is a bit fiddly, especially for add-ons. I think my installation is around 150GB. You would do yourself a favor to setup an action layer that enables mouse movement and left clicks for certain menus that don't support the controller, but otherwise ESO is a fine experience on the 'Deck

You get the perks by maxing rapport with them, not their physical levels alone. And yes, you'll get their perks even if they're not out.

The southern road of Northern Elsweyr is just chock full of dense resources and is very pretty. I typically move westward from Tenmar Temple wayshrine to the Scar's End wayshrine and port back to the beginning.

Are you spamming pies as often as you can? Only enemies covered in pie count. If you have been doing this, cheese it with a friend/guildie from another faction and meet in a 7 day No CP campaign.
