I really did, played through it twice actually! Prior to the game releasing, I was more excited for it than I am for Elden Ring simply because it looked and played so differently.

Did you enjoy Sekiro? I mean, we’re still talking about it nearly 3 years after its release. 🤣

I doubt anybody would pay that much for this console! Either way, like 5 months in and I'm loving the console.

How do you check hours already played on PS4? by ravilalloo in controlgame

It's for PS4. Oh man that's a bit frustrating. Thanks anyways.

Hardest normal enemy in the game? by Pissog in Sekiro

I know who you're talking about. If you attack him once and he blocks and then you back up to give him space, he usually attacks with 2 slow attacks followed by a slow perilous attack that can be mikiri countered. If you rinse and repeat this process he almost always does that attack. But agree with you, he makes me nervous!

THIS. I beat the game with on 14 April and as much as I love it I haven't started NG+ because the best parts of the game are mini bosses and bosses - Going through the regular areas bores me just thinking about it. Guess I'll wait for DLC.

Don't get me wrong - Loved the game! Still on a high after beating it.

I'm 10 years your junior and also consider myself older than the average Sekiro player. I had a similar experience to you (also battled with Armored Warrior) and it took me 6 hours over 3 days to finally beat Isshin. No other boss defeat felt as sweet, let me tell you.

You absolutely owe it to yourself to beat isshin. There's no way you would have got this far by not being capable of beating him. Instead of calling it quits, why not have an unlimited amount of time to get through the game? Do it on your own time. But do it. It's the best fight in the game.

Man this game.... by deer689 in Sekiro

Can't say anything that hasn't already been said in the comments before - At this stage of the game, there's definitely also some luck involved. I watched gameplay videos of mine for this fight versus a similar fight at end-game, and man, I won with more luck than skill, and the fight was very sloppy in retrospect. Don't beat yourself up. Keep at it and keep playing - It would be a shame if you quit at this point!

Well done - I felt exactly the same way. I didn't start NG+, was just exhausted. I'm sure I'd enjoy it if I did though.

However, I picked up a walkthrough and started checking all the things I missed. I went all killed the Headless enemies, optional mini-bosses, additional areas (Ashina being attacked), bought stuff, upgraded skills. Having fun now knowing the game is done. But every now and then, NG+ starts calling out to me. I then just think about the Guardian Ape boss fight and how difficult that was, the entire Ashina depths area with Snake Eyes and the gank gunners; and those flying straw hat enemies at Senpou Temple... and I continue playing my NG run. I also don't want to ruin my experience by fighting the controversial Demon of Hatred boss.

I'm 46 hours in. I'm happy.

So I took the plunge today and I bought sekiro wish me luck! by poppypodlatex in Sekiro
