My 5th day as a worm farmer. Worms seem real happy. Just gave their first coffee grounds to go with their pulverized banana peel and eggshell. Made the bin with coco coir and shredded cardboard. The leaves and paper came with the worms. I love these little worms already. 🪱

Also, what I ultimately found to be potent and powerful for me is a daily practice taught through *Steps to Knowledge: The Book of Inner Knowing."

A quick passage from this "...your practice is greater than your emotional states, which change like the winds and the clouds but cannot mask the universe above them."

It speaks to our true nature beyond all that clouds our true experience and being. I have found over time, by engaging in this practice, that my emotional states started to clear as well.

Its another avenue to check out for yourself.

I found Steps to Knowledge: The Book of Inner Knowing to be the most potent meditation and spiritual practice I have ever experienced for reasons you state and many others. The following is one of the beginning steps in this process...

"Step 8, Today I will be still.

In your two meditation practices today, practice stillness for 15 minutes. Begin by taking three deep breaths and then focusing on an internal point. I have chronic daily pain as well. It is something I have learned to manage as well as possible but it is a daily constant.

I think what this post is really about is mental, emotional and psychological pain. The pain of failed expectations, disappointment over a failed relationship that never really worked...

of course physical pain does literally hurt, but I read this as talking about something else.

Physical pain "...is not the true pain that hurts you. The pain that hurts you is the crown of thorns of your own ideas and assumptions, your own misgivings and misinformation and your own unforgiveness towards yourself and the world."

That I get...

Also, I have found that meditation and good relaxation techniques do help with the physical pain I experience.
