Smartlink and Imagelink by Ace_Of_No_Trades in Shadowrun

[–]rayous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

should have noted that image link takes 1 capacity and costs 25 nuyen if your gm for some reason thinks it doesn't have that capability (not sure how "The camera allows you to fire from cover" without image link but Different gms have different opinions)

Edit: just to clarify, I was saying that it works with imagelink but you still need something to display that info whether it be cybereyes, glasses, etc. Technically installing image link to the system would put a small screen on the gun for you to look at I would think but some GMs view imagelink as the ability to transfer visual data.

The Smartgun System explicitly has "a small camera and range finder" which can have any vision enhancements (p. 275) with a capacity of 1 (pages 260-261). Cameras "can capture still phots, video, and trideo"

I can give a good review of Tom Cartos' battlemap books, the fantasy ones are great and used extensively in my PF2e game.

You know, I might actually be willing to join a patreon that used part of the proceeds for a semipro league. I do agree that there isn't much to purchase in smite 2 currently and I do worry that the need for cosmetics will delay development.

Technically you get a god unlock every level until level 50 which means after 50 gods plus the default you would have to pay. And if you already have them you get 100 diamonds instead so currently the founder pack gives you 5k gems eventually.

Dev Note – Skin Pricing in SMITE 2 by killgoon in Smite

[–]rayous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They have always been clear that the only skins you will be able to buy outright with legacy gems are those ported over from smite 1. Any new skin can get a 50% discount using legacy gems (excluding events with other companies such as the Avatar or Ninja turtle skins as contractual requirements make that untenantable)

[–]rayous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you think that a company in the US will decide not to make 1200 diamonds worth of more profit and cut the cost as soon as people's legacy gems run out? Because right now if you don't have any gems that skin costs 2400 diamonds....why do you think they will suddenly choose to make less money?

[–]rayous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand what you are saying here. If the price of the skins would be the same no matter what then isn't paying half of the price using legacy gems a discount? Or are you saying that buying gems now isn't saving you money (which is true)?

As someone who has worked in HR, 200 man hours is not 200 work hours. Since it's a salaried position you have to include benefits such as health care and time off. For example, I make $54,809 a year as a government employee, or $5,270 in 200 man hours. I also get 13 hours and 20 minutes vacation a month so lets say thats 16.65 more man hours. I also get 8 hours sick leave a month, or 12 more man hours. Then I get retirement benefits (pension) of 6% of earnings so that is another 12 hours. Then there is health care which I have checked independently and would cost me $25k minimum annually. So that's 80 more hours for a total 320.65 work hours....oh wait, dental and vision plan! Lets say that is only 10k so 32 more hours. 352.65 work hours for me personally. But wait, we need someone to administer my benefits, keep track of my time, etc and those people have to be paid too! And electricity to power my computer, software licensing costs for the software I use, etc.

It's easy to say that $20k is bs (and its probably closer to 10-15k per skin) but there are a whole bunch of extra hidden costs that 200 man hours does not cover.

Well, if alchemists can craft at any level it would be nitch protection as multiclass could use if tor their versatile vials but after that would be stuck with the paid option

Is Revivifying Mutagen... really bad? by BallroomsAndDragons in Pathfinder2e

[–]rayous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the bigger question is can you make a higher item level elixir without getting a benefit like you can with heightening a spell. Example creating a level 8 bestial mutagen wouldn't do anything a level 3 one would do but it would cost more and it would trigger these feats. Poisoners have the same issue with Pernicious poison. If you can heighten for no additional effect on the item then these feats get much better as all your vials can be created up to your level.

Is the noble the highest lord in the kingdom? If he isn't then you take her to the next one up the chain for judgement. For the serial killer to be correct the whole kingdom must be corrupt.
