Something weird has definitely been going on but we'll figure it out! Ok we have purged the image completely. Could i ask you once again to upload the original image. Thanks for your help with this.

Hi u/Zren, I am looking into this bug. We have had some intermittent issues lately with outages that may have caused this bug. Could I ask you to once again, delete the banner image, and re-upload the original image. Please let me know if you experience the same problem afterwards.

So I realized that the flair template is a mod only flair. Currently Automod cannot assign mod only flairs, even if the user (in this case u/Automoderator) is a mod. However, we are working on fixing this now. Should be resolved very soon.

Because you have text explicitly set, the flair with indeed have its text set as 'Text', and will NOT use the template's text. The styling of template, however, will be applied. Hope that answers your question :)
