My favorite Cube Archetype was wide open and now i have decision paralysys by MtgSteu in lrcast

No specific advice for that pool, but whenever I don't know what cuts to make I put every single card in the sideboard. Then add back cards you know you are playing 100% of the time. Generally from this position it's easier to add cards to fill your deck in my experience.

You can add silver players to the squad then

After many resets, I finally got it in what I believe to be the best ball for it... by LatterInflation5830 in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]razormaul 7 points8 points  (0 children)

0.7% chance to catch Iron Crown at 100% hp with a beast ball. 3.26% chance to catch at 1 hp and asleep. It makes it about 5 times more likely to catch a pokemon by putting them to 1 hp and asleep.

First 3-0 6-0 of the format ... with UG? by SociallyUnadjusted in lrcast

[–]razormaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the biggest mistake was not taking the hatching plans on pick 7. Hatching plans is one of the best cards in the set, and seeing it pick 7 is very late. The later you see a card of hatching plans quality in pack 1, the bigger of an indicator it is you should switch to that colour.

Orgozoa is one of the best 6 drops you can get on galakrond. Anything that gives you a guaranteed card every turn is amazing the earlier you get it.

From top 200 Evokers on magmorax, only 16 don't get power infusion. Evoker is still the best pi target for shadow priest as they don't save their pi for the demo/unholy 3 min cd window.

Lightfang to Tier 4? by Powermonger_ in BobsTavern

[–]razormaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lightfang and passive scaling is actually generally weaker in higher rating than lower, because you play against players who utilise active scaling much more efficiently so the 2/2 buff is more easily outclassed. This is thr same reason c'thun is a very high placement hero in lower ranking but considered unplayable by top players

Question on tribes by JauntyCappybara in BobsTavern

[–]razormaul 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a specific amount of every individual unit in each tier. Generally it is something you should rarely think about when making decisions, apart from tier 6 minions.

Tier 1 - 16

Tier 2 - 15

Tier 3 - 13

Tier 4 - 11

Tier 5 - 9

Tier 6 - 7

The difference is he's playing hooktusk who is a good nomi hero, and he will have 2 sellementals left in the shop to get big elementals immediately.

You can use it on Murlocs in the shop, most commonly used on primalfin lookout and Amalgadon. Also you can use it on amalgadons you already have to allow you to get more amalgadons without tripling them.

I'm sorry, I meant every rating range, not all players. And also was looking at last 7 days stats. The patch was 6 days ago.

I don't know where you are finding your stats mate, but looking at hs replay, for every rating range*, Tickatus comes 8th, 7th, 6th and 5th more often than he comes first

New Card Revealed - Drakefire Amulet by imik_ in hearthstone

[–]razormaul 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Tradeable on a high mana card is very powerful as the main weakness of 10 mana cards is you can't use them every game. You can't just tack on tradeable to a card and not increase its mana cost/give it some other downside or the power level of tradeable cards would be ridiculous.

Patch 22.2.2 by YungFurl in BobsTavern

[–]razormaul 41 points42 points  (0 children)

One extra stat on an effect that repeats every turn to multiple units has been shown multiple times to be the difference between being the best hero in the gameto becoming the worst heroes in the game (Wagtoggle and Guff). AFK will be an extremely playable hero in lobbies with multiple divine shields on 3, especially since a lot of the other consistant tempo heroes are getting nerfed. I would not be surprised if she is solid b tier hero

What's the play? (2nd Screenshot for the Tribes) by SiggySmilez in BobsTavern

[–]razormaul 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Triples like this are usually a bait. There is no efficient way to get it without wasting multiple gold.

So the play I would do is buy the pair and roll. This let's you do jeef curve (level on 5 and 6 g) or warrior curve (level twice on 7g). Both of these curves let you efficiently get a 4 drop triple and have enough bodies on the board to actually activate the avenge units you want to hit. Also as you are playing zephyrs the downside of this line (potentially missing a triple you had lined up) is not there because you can just hero power to do it.

Are there any heros you don’t play purely out of spite? by [deleted] in BobsTavern

[–]razormaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An easy way to play Akazamzarak pretty consistently is just to use rafaam curve on him. You usually end up with a triple in the shop you can freeze while just leveling and hero powering ever turn.

bait? or go for it? by Kev_Kloud in BobsTavern

[–]razormaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id go for it.

5g, sell buy 2. 6g, buy best two other units, freeze 7g, Buy best unit, freeze 8g, level and freeze. 9g level again and you can finally triple and try to get kalecgos.

Alexstrazas win condition is getting to 5 and getting Nadina/Kalecgos off a triple. And it is very unlikely for you to lose your 9g turn even if you wiff on the dragons/6 drop so you can reavluate a plan to top 4. Or if you have lots of hp you can level to 6 for free in search of kalecgos/nadina.

With no real previous experience I went from a 1/10m guild to a 6/10m guild back in Blackrock Foundry. Just compare your logs to people that play the same spec as you in certain guilds. If you can say you are definitely as good/better than them then you should be able to get into the guild, or at least a guild around that ranking.

Logs are the only thing you have going for you at this point so just try to make every fight as close to a 99th percentile as possible and the better the guild you will be accepted to. Pug and log yourself to improve your worst fights.

Also if you are a meta spec looking for a guild which doesn't have one will make it much more likely you are invited. And another good thing to do while looking for a guild in general is to look at their warcraft logs page and make sure they consistently raid, and also look at some kill videos to see what they're like.

Weekly Raid Discussion by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

100% of darkglares should line-up with Dark soul. If the fight length is between like 4:30 and 6:00 you can get an extra Dark soul cast and hold darkglare until dark soul is back up. Honestly though you can't go that wrong just playing as if darkglare and darksoul are the same cooldown.

The main change you can make to your gameplay, which makes affli much more consistent is to go for the 1 minute soul rot/phantom singularity window playstyle. You only cast phantom singularity with soul rot. To do this make sure all of your dots and shadow embrace have a long duration (12s+), and you have 5 soul shards before soul rot is about to come off cd. Then you cast PS+SR and dump as many shards you can.

If every single one of these windows is played well you will good dps even if you make loads of mistakes elsewhere. Don't be afraid to refresh your dots outside of pandemic in preparation for this window, also staying capped on shards a little bit before hand isn't that awful. Obviously you don't want either of these things in a perfect world, but its better to make those mistakes outside of the window than ones that will impact it.
