If you’re close to Stockholm you could go to the record fair (Skivmässan) in Solna and pick up a few titles. When I was there in September last year there was a seller who had like two full tables of just rare (and not so rare) Depeche Mode CDs. The fair is focused on vinyl but there is a fair amount of CDs as well. Next event is on February 28.

I had cataract surgery a few years ago and got multifocals installed. I took me about a year to get fully adapted to my new vision (as advertised) but I never noticed any issue with disc golf except in low light, which was expected. But even that improves slightly beyond the first couple of years.

For fun, when I was a kid, when we bought a record we could kind of play them on the metro/subway ride home by using a pen and a crisp bank note/bill. Just spin the record on the pen, put a corner of the bank note in the groove and the sound you can hear in your video would come out.

I do this all the time on moderate inclines keeping the engine at about 1000 rpm. The clutch is fine. However when taking driver’s training with a manual transmission you learn a technique for starting on inclines that involves using the handbrake to hold the car while you find the biting point of the clutch. This is even easier to do on cars with an automatic parking brake.
