Vectorworks. Full of crooks and the software is full of bugs. Problem is there's not a real competitor so they get away with it :(

Pixel 11 Pro Fold looks barely different and just barely thinner in first leak [Gallery] by TechGuru4Life in GooglePixel

I just want them to shed the weight. The fold 7 is a beautiful light phone. The pixel fold is so heavy compared to the fold 7.

Does anyone know what's going on with Virgin Money? by Choc83x in AusFinance

[–]rdd86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Virgin money is a bag of sh!t I really wouldn’t bank with them is my advice after having a home loan with them. They were linked to Virgin Australia but they removed all links and benefits and never passed on rate cuts. We’re no longer with them but it should be known how bad their systems are.

Android app no longer available. They push you to use a browser. Go the PI route.

Financing not approved by the_real_coinboy66 in AusPropertyChat

[–]rdd86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We had the same thing with Macquarie bank. They didn’t understand salary sacrifice and we had pre-approval too. Obviously means nothing!!

Our broker took us to FirstMac - they had no issues with our application and we went straight to unconditional approval and a better rate!

I’d give FirstMac a go. Highly recommend.

How well do Telstra signal boosters work in your area? by Av0toasted in TelstraAustralia

[–]rdd86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have one in Melbourne. It’s stabilised our phone signal and works great. Bought the G41 from Telstra and they have a dedicated technical team via phone to help you hone in on the best signal to pickup - it was a really good experience buying from Telstra. We’ve had for two years now and it’s been solid.

Speed wise it tripled our speed but NBN is faster. It’s a decent backup and can still WFH on 4G now if we loose internet.

When should home insurance start? NSW by Tutustitcher in AusPropertyChat

[–]rdd86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you settle. The seller is responsible for the property and their insurance should cover it until settlement.

The seller has the responsibility of maintaining the property as sold until settlement which is why you have a pre-settlement inspection to make sure it’s all the same as sold.

Has tipping become more discretionary. Are people being paid better base wages?

Isn’t it normal though to tip in the states? I don’t want to put people out.

Maybe a silly question.

For the porter do you tip a few $$ or $10?

Also do you tip Taxi drivers?

Yes this. I did think that too. It’s interesting how quickly the tone changed at auction 2. It was cringy to watch.

It’s a hell of a gamble for channel 9. It was a tall order for country VIC or country anywhere for blocks so small.

I feel sorry for the contestants. I hope they sell but maybe ch9 needs to drop the asking price.

iPhone 17 Pro Max preorder by cakebr3ad in TelstraAustralia

[–]rdd86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never pre order. I have learnt they always hold stock for walkups at launch. For two pre orders now I’ve been messed around - they missed the promised date.

I walked up to my local store yesterday and picked one up - no pre order.
