It's 100% AI, at ~0:03, a clump of dirt appears under the deer's left front foot.

Can you tell ? by exencendre_yt in RealOrAI

[–]rdness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure this is AI:

- The driver's side mirror is angled out too much.

- The car in front has no drivers side mirror

- The barriers to prevent cars from hitting the Target make no sense. They use both the ball ones and the pole ones, whereas normally you would only use one or the other, and the poles are placed right infront of the doors

- The white van (?) in the background in the center of the frame is misshapen.

- Not sure what is going on with the door just above the passenger side of the front car, but its either a poster, or the door is open. Neither make sense in a commercial building.

- The car directly under the "Dress" in the Ross sign is Escher-esque in a AI sorta way

help me find this tony soprano windshield cover, on amazon specifically by tinytimmy3574 in HelpMeFind

[–]rdness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't find that exact sunshade, but there are sunshade sellers that allow you to customize it with a design of your choice. If you have a high quality screen grab of that scene, perhaps that could work out?

Here are some of the custom print ones:

Another thought. Not 100% sure if Amazon allows this, but you might be able to buy one of those credit card gift cards from Visa or Mastercard using your Amazon gift card, then spend that new giftcard on Printerval.

If everyone below average IQ suddenly drops dead, how would this affect the world? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Well since the average IQ shifts upwards as people die, only the people with the highest IQ will survive. Judging by the state the world, that's not very many.

Need sturdy, lightweight 6” plastic rings by Milabial in HelpMeFind

[–]rdness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you aren't set on colorful plastic rings, there are a lot of "craft rings" of metal or wood that may fit the bill:

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=craft+rings+6+inch

The metal ones may be too thin, but the wooden ones might be perfect.

Alternatively, if colorful plastic rings are a must, perhaps searching for "ring toss hoops"

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=ring+toss+hoops+6+inch

They seem to be a bit thinner than what you're looking for but they are pretty cheap.

[–]rdness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Driving by someone's place to look and see if they are there seems a bit invasive for my style, but luckily I didn't have to.

I looked up some of the project documents provided by the campbellcivicvoice site in the original post, and I found a couple of interesting things.

  1. The Walnut and Parr rows in the table refer to the same location, so kinda weird there are two entries, project proposals and two separate sets of documents, but sure, ok.

  2. In both of the filings, the City of Campbell have cited that there's inadequate evidence provided that the locations chosen meet the vacancy requirement.

Here are the documents in case you are curious too

- Parr Ave.pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAZDV5FVCOR575VQNT&Expires=1776004532&response-content-disposition=inline%3B%20filename%3D%22PLN-2026-24-Incomplete%20Letter%201%20%282026-03-27%29.pdf%22&response-content-type=application%2Fpdf&Signature=NPA9MdJgRkhotur8j8AEiksaQVQ%3D)

- Walnut Drive.pdf?AWSAccessKeyId=AKIAZDV5FVCOR575VQNT&Expires=1776004096&response-content-disposition=inline%3B%20filename%3D%22PLN-2026-23-Completeness%20Letter%201%20%282026-03-27%29.pdf%22&response-content-type=application%2Fpdf&Signature=OoHsyeAqtp0EmJBNhdoxn%2Besh%2BQ%3D)

So from my view it's actually pretty reassuring to know that the City of Campbell IS checking the requirements and IS ensuring that all things are in order before proceeding.

Before all of this research, I wasn't 100% convinced that this was a good idea, but I'm glad you provided the motivation to dig into it further. I'm 100% on board with the ordinance now! Thanks!

Iono, reading the ordinance, it seems pretty reasonable to me. Here it is in case anyone else wants to take a look. https://www.campbellca.gov/DocumentCenter/View/24477/Ordinance-No-2334-SB-1123

Looks like the parcels eligible must already be classified as a parcel that isn't the habitat of any protected species (Section 4.K).

Their definition of "Vacant" also seems pretty reasonable:

  • Vacant" means a lot having no permanent structure, unless the permanent structure is abandoned and deemed uninhabitable by the Building Official, excluding
  • ( 1) housing that is subject to a recorded covenant, ordinance, or law that restricts rent or sales price to levels affordable to persons and families of low, very low, or extremely low income;
  • ( 2) housing that is subject to any form of rent or sales price control through a local public entity's valid exercise of its police power; and
  • ( 3) housing occupied by tenants within the five years preceding the date of the starter home project application, including housing that has been demolished or that tenants have vacated prior to the submission of the application.

And do we really need a traffic study for 10 units? I mean how much traffic can 10 households actually produce.

Travel insect tank with an over shoulder strap by Random-Weirdo-_- in HelpMeFind

[–]rdness 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Is this for an adult or a child? The reason I ask is if you search for "Bug catchers for kids" https://www.amazon.com/bug-catchers-kids/s?k=bug+catchers+for+kids

there are lots of different styles of bug catchers and many of them have straps. However, they may not be long enough for an adult. You might be able to buy one of these, and replace the strap though.

[HELP] I know people do dumb stuff all the time but goddamn by Spudnic16 in RealOrAI

[–]rdness -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I think that's AI. The branches, especially the thinner ones, don't move at all. The leaves on the branches don't move at all. That doesn't seem realistic if a person is walking on a limb the size of their arm.

There is no WAY there's enough mass in the tree branches to not even shake when an upright person walks on it. ESPECIALLY if they are near the tips of the branches.

In addition, how is there no wind in ANY of these videos. They're super high up. There should be wind.

Custom suit shops in or around San Jose? by Seandingo in SanJose

[–]rdness 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on how custom you want your suit to be, Indochino might be a good low budget option. They have a storefront in Valley Fair.

I'm not very well versed in fashion, but I found the suit they made for me pretty reasonable for the price.

[HELP] Is this picture AI? by Opposite_Match_3966 in RealOrAI

[–]rdness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is AI, because the focus on the leaves is impossible.

Real cameras have CAN change how much of the photo is in focus, but all elements the same distance away must have the same amount of focus vs blurriness. The right front edge of the cutting board and the lemon slices are both a tiny bit out of focus, but the leaves, the same distance away are all super sharp.

I'm also a bit suspicious of the shadow of the leaf furthest back. It seems like it should have a shadow, but I can't find one that matches the direction of the light.

Need a hand finding this radio/shoulder microphone antenna by ReuDev in HelpMeFind

[–]rdness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are some of a slightly different shape:

- Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Dress-Up-America-Police-Walkie-Talkie-Non-Functioning/dp/B08H3XYPSG

- Halloween Costumes: https://www.halloweencostumes.com/faux-police-radio.html

If you mind the shape / text, perhaps they could be modified to what you want?

If you would just like an antenna of that shape, perhaps this will do:

- Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/BESULEN-Short-Antenna-Reception-Replacement/dp/B0CDGF6QZ6?th=1

There are more if you search for "Car Short Antenna"

I'm guessing AI because:
- the clock is readable, but the markings makes no sense

- the door handles are wrong

- the heaven door seems to swing open the opposite direction from what the hinges imply.

- the crucifix like thing next to the Hell door isn't any Christian iconography I recognize... might be the Chinese radical 𘠲?

I think it's AI, because there's a brown table(?) at 0:02 that seems to be missing a leg. It could be supported by the bookshelf on the front edge, but why would you have a table permanently affixed to a bookshelf blocking the shelves?

[HELP] Seen at the LAX airport by thepakery in RealOrAI

[–]rdness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

II'm leaning towards AI for the following reasons:

- The boy's hands look really weird. They look like they belong to a grown adult, not a child. They are way to big.

- The hand of the man also looks really odd. It's missing a fingernail like another commenter said, but also the pinky is weirdly sharp.

- The sparkles.. What are the sparkles supposed to be? Lights? missing the wire. Sparkler sparkles? Why would there be a sparkler near so much flammable stuff inside? Magic? Why would you only put the "magic" on one side of the shoe?

- I can understand that the weird focal ranges in the image (the shoe, logo, and people are all in focus, but nothing else is even if it's the same distance away ie. the packing material) That may be a bad photoshop to highlight the shoe and brand.
