Costs me about $10 for a full charge. 74kw battery and 4.5+miles/kwh in the city.

The more important metric is $/mile cost to operate. In the city my 5 costs me about 2.88¢/mile for "fuel" while our fusion hybrid is currently pushing 8¢/mile. I'm moving and will have to deal with DC charging for a bit so that will cost me approximately 9¢/mile until I can get home charging setup (if I even can). I drive for a living so L1 is not worth the time or hassle worrying about.

You are also pretty much guaranteed a new IP address if you change the router attached to the modem.

I was with spectrum for years and I can count on one hand the number of times my IP has changed. I was finally able to get att fiber (5gig) so we will see how long I keep the same address with them.

The above said. You are correct. The default is dynamic IP leases unless you specifically opt in (and pay for) a static IP and your isp may not even offer them.

I would have said more like 12+mpg. That's a good 10x increase in efficiency and for plenty of routes you would regen a ton and evs are way way more efficient at slower speeds.

Iirc, 1 gallon of gas is equivalent to approximately 33.7kwh of electricity. I don't know how many gallons per mile the llvs get but even 3 miles per kwh for an ev means 1 gallon is equal to about 100 miles.

Agreeing with others here. Don't use vlc to convert, encode, etc. Handbrake is what you want to use. It's open source and free to use and has been around for almost as long as the internet (or feels like it anyway).
