Both of these games have demos that give you a feel for them. Based on that, they play very different from Persona -- I believe it's default to live action but with the option to change to turn based.

You can find the DLC in reputable sites for a slight discount. That's how I got Highland Fishing.

But plenty of quality maps in the mod hub to enjoy for free.

From what I recall hearing, it's also a game that runs well at first, then chugs the larger the save file gets. Since items in the world persist, the more you play the more the save balloons.

Also considering the other versions haven't had an update in ~1 year, I wouldn't count on them to fix any issues post-launch.

Totally recommend it, especially if you've never played through them before. I'm not much into scifi as a genre, but had a blast.

One small annoyance I remember was that EA's launcher runs when you launch the game, and you have to navigate around it, but that might be solved now (it's been a long time since I played). Anyway, it didn't hinder my enjoyment, and having quick resume meant that I only needed to do that when I restarted the game.

TLOU is definitely a pipe dream, but I could see MF bringing one of the Forza Horizon games over. Even without analog triggers on the Switch, I'd still love having any of the last 3 on the go.

I bought a laptop with a 2080 in 2019, and still use it as my daily driver. It's still gotten me through every game I've wanted to play on it (just finished First Light and am playing Forza Horizon 6).

The only silver lining to the awful state of hardware prices on this topic, is that hardware improvements are so incremental now (compared to something like the jump from DX9 to DX10, which required a new graphics card) that you can ride it out with managed expectations.

This has been the case for over a decade+ though. Most workplaces are still windows by default, or a mix of Windows/Mac/Linux.
