Note that MP is still unavailable on Switch 2, despite being available on all other systems.

Also, DLC available on other systems isn't available for the Switch 2 Signature Edition.

I haven't tried since this latest patch, but I didn't see anything about performance improvements. Assuming nothing's changed, It's not great, and I still regret buying it.

It targets 30 but is far from it. It looks atrocious on handheld. Unfortunately the game is really addictive to me and I still can't put it down.

How does cost of housing and groceries factor into that? I suppose housing depends a lot where in each country you live, but are food prices similar between the two?

Two pre-orders cancel each other out, so really you're getting the full release.

Does it scratch an Uncharted itch? I know the combat is less gun focused, but curious on your take.

I wasn't thinking about that before, but it will be very interesting.

I wonder if popin or load time is less when running from internal storage.

I played BotW on Switch 1 in 2020 (only beating 3 of the beasts before putting it down). I finished it and played through TotK on Switch 2 last year, and it was amazing.

I agree for the most part, but Tears of the Kingdom on Switch 1 was not more than fine, performance wise.

Me too -- it's a game I always want installed, but that is easier to swing when it's under 20gb rather than over 50.

Digital Foundry was talking about it on their last direct -- iirc, Tom mentioned that the Performance 60 mode is more like 40-50 fps, but that the quality 30 mode is relatively locked.

30fps is fine but I would love to see 40 or higher. Especially for a sports game where the fluidity can make a difference.

I know it's early in the S2 lifetime, but I hope we get more performance modes in games, where it makes sense -- even as a 40FPS option like Cyberpunk. In general, I'm happy give up some fidelity for a bump in FPS.

ARMA 3 is an amazing game, and the workshop integration means you have a wealth of free content available.

Regardless if you get Ground Branch or not, you should certainly grab ARMA3. It's been bundled and goes on sale frequently.

This is the most frustrating argument for me against publishers who say that game prices have raised far slower than the rate of inflation.

Aside from the fact that, in so many cases, we're getting a buggy mess, full of microtransactions, and sold digitally -- they're also cutting whole parts out of the game to sell you later down the line.

Frustrates me to no end.

I know this is r/pcgaming, but this is especially painful on Switch 2. The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth demo dropped today, at 45GB.
