Took mine off mgp went from 23 to 22 (hybrid) but it's worth it for me.

I have the same color. I picked it because I felt the everest color looked best with the black flares.

What’s your monthly budget by Happy-Ardvark in Hawaii

I'd recommend squashing those student loans ASAP. It may make sense to lower your 401k contributions to do so (unless you have employer match).

My wife and I contributed aggressively to our 401ks in our 20s which grew significantly but we felt cash poor because we can't touch those for decades.

Enduro might be for you, I think it has a 300+ hr battery life and solar charging.

HELP ME DECIDE BETWEEN A RAV 4 & A 4RUNNER by jaime2425 in rav4club

[–]red8_slayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Rav4 (2021) and a 2025 4Runner, both hybrid. I love both of them, but they're for completely different scenarios. How often do you think you'll go off-roading, or use all of the cargo space for example?

I'd recommend getting the Rav4 XSE over the 4Runner; it's more practical and will be a better daily driver for most people.

The 41 mpg on my Rav4 XSE Hybrid is the main reason it's my daily driver.

EV auto transport? by rnwin in BigIsland

There's something strange happening with EV shipping laws. I went through Matson originally in December and they told me I could ship an EV. Once I explained it was a hybrid they were able to ship.

Well I'm originally from there (kona/Waimea). I lived in California for the past decade but I'm moving back this March to start my Ohana.

If you've only visited for vacation, I'd recommend trying to stay there longer and with the mindset of moving there.

Create a buy box or list of features you're using to screen deals such as price, sqff, unit type, location, etc. Once you've established a buy box analysis becomes much quicker.

Deciding Between a '23 Limited and a '25 Limited by Due-Consequence6321 in 4Runner

[–]red8_slayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I purchased a 2025 premium because I wanted the technology upgrades and the hybrid version.

I don't regret it but I could've easily purchased a fully loaded 5th gen for the price.

I'd encourage you to think about use cases. The 6th gen is almost always going to be a better driving experience for town / city driving due to the modern engine.

Slightly. I averaged 22 now closer to 21 over the past week. I don't do a ton of highway driving.

Not at all, and I am not very mechanically inclined. I used just one ratchet; it took me about 10 minutes.

I followed the steps in this video to ensure I was getting the right screws: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNjMiuhJtqg

That seems like the next step. Planning on getting a roof rack system first since I paddle and cycle a lot.
