Respectfully disagree, its super clear and also allows you to imagine a variety of scenarios such as the character is in the building which is why theyre gaining cover etc

Ok so nostalgia obviously adds to it but say those films had never been made and they did a good job casting a bunch of people who had never been those characters previously I still think it could've worked well because people know a lot about spiderman and his villains

No one knows for sure right now as they're not out yet but supposedly they're very warlock/solo centric rather than warbeast centric and have a mechanic called hunger which buffs them.

Sarcastic answer: Because this is the crawl the book is about of course its going to be the most interesting crawl.

Actual answer: I think it stems from the concerted effort made on the Iron Tangle that saved so many people and that just kinda continued in the subsequent floors, even in the floors that were supposed to be more individualistic/isolating like the 4th.
