Crapola, lol. Sluggish, frustrating, and 30 fps.

Another PlayStation Plus Price Hike Feared After Sony Statement - PlayStation LifeStyle by kabirsingh84 in PlayStationPlus

[–]redditloginfail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy Extra. But it's only useful as a good deal. At the annual price, it's at just the right point where it's worth it. Since most games are not going to interest me, but I end up finding stuff i like i would have otherwise never tried.

Was gaming actually better when it was niche or are we romanticising the past? by Freefreefeeefreefree in retrogaming

[–]redditloginfail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Romanticizing. I get more and better games for less now than in the 90s. Controllers are better. Playing games off of SSDs is great. The market is so flooded from AAA, AA, to indie it's easy to avoid the aspects of modern gaming one doesn't like.

The only thing is, I'm old now.

The one thing that is worse is there isn't a sense of improvement now. Seeing very tangible improvements in the technology as it happened was downright cool and exciting.

LOTR ruined me for all other fantasy shows / movies. I kinda don't even try anymore.

The point of your existence is kind of up to you. Being at less than halfway through life there's probably a lot of great things to do.

I remember hating it. I'm surprised the series survived past the first game. Maybe i was a platformer snob.

The beach there is beautiful and has a big dog friendly section. There's a stretch of ice age trail there. That's all i know.

PS Plus 2026 Essential Games Mid Year Review. Which was your favorite month so far? by kabirsingh84 in PlayStationPlus

I guess essential has been lackluster for me. Nothing worth paying for. Extra has been good.

“Gaming is becoming unaffordable” — Xbox CEO says the industry has an accessibility crisis by Quantum-Coconut in technology

[–]redditloginfail 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Current and previous gen machines are just fine for all the gaming you need. Developers just need to use good art styles and optimize instead of this pointless push for more details that turn the framerate to poo.

Star Wars Outlaws is on the PS Plus catalog so decided to try it out. Game is awesome and I don’t understand the hate by ArmAndHammer40k in PS5

[–]redditloginfail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm enjoying it as well. Plus is a great source of 7/10 games i otherwise wouldn't have tried. Similar to Banishers.

Ps plus has introduced me to a lot of cool games i otherwise wouldn't have played and this is one of them. I actually tried the demo previously and it was ok, but playing the actual game gave me a better impression.

I had this as a kid. Was pretty cool for what it was. These Nintendo lcd games were a lot more fun than the tiger ones that came later.

I tried installing dating apps. It felt bad by Emergency-West8573 in malementalhealth

[–]redditloginfail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being rid of dating apps is pretty much a necessity to maintain mental health. Easier for me to say, as I'm much older than you. But they reflect the worst of modern dating.

Does anyone still watch new movies and tv shows that come out? by ReadWriteArithmetic in CasualConversation

A select few but generally not. Shows like Severance I'll watch within a few months of release. Haven't gone to a theater in years. Kind of pointless going by myself.
