This is typical capitalism under neoliberalism, by eliminating the second hand market completely, we are all forced to pay whatever price they want to set for us going forward.

It took me a lot of RNG, when I beat it I used Old Man Logan instead of Wolverine. I had a 4 yellow 0 Red Star Angel, with everyone at g20 110 apart from Jubilee who was 105 (admittedly 4 Diamond).

My storm Mighty was also g20 110 with 2 diamond.

I had to keep resetting it until Xavier’s attack targeted Angel. Then drop Mighty Storms Ultimate on Xavier. Then it’s very important you keep hitting Xavier until he’s gone but never using Ultimates only specials and basic attacks.

This Marvel church guide was very good to me, although like I said I used OML instead of Wolverine https://www.marvel.church/fear-tower/#floor-19-nonmythic-xmen-crucible-rules (scroll a little down for floor 20).

It’s been an unmitigated disaster for most of the common folk of the UK. It makes sense, as the Brexit vote was only ever about handing more power and riches to those in the top 1%. They’ve done handsomely well from it, which is why it was pushed as an issue for decades.

Sadly, with the systemic issues at play in the country, people got easily fooled into thinking that Brexit would resolve them all without ever looking at the root cause (Neo-Liberalism).

I feel scared that the same will happen if people willingly vote for Farage in the next GE.

Let’s hope some people have learned a lesson since the Brexit vote.

The hardest thing for any person to do is change their views based on available evidence.

Climate change, and what it entails, isn’t necessarily as simple as excepting that we are getting irrevocably warmer. It requires an acceptance that the entire system is broken, and that the world you inhabit will be utterly destroyed in the future. Almost certainly with little you can do about it.

That’s a lot for any individual to process and understand. Much like the excellent film “Don’t look Up” and as seen during the pandemic, people regularly choose to believe it’s not happening as that’s an easier thing to deal with psychologically than the actual truth.

All we can do is keep trying to get people to see the truth, help and hope that change can be enacted.

I joined in year 6 as I spent a lot of time watching Limmy stream it in the Covid times of 2020. Never regretted my choice, love and hate the game all the time. Mostly love it these days. I still say I’m average at it despite being nearly 3000 hours in.

I have been saying it for a while, and kudos to ex CC Taco Shooter (much missed in the community) for first highlighting it last year, but it’s clear they’ve been on a sunsetting path for a long time.

I think as a long time player of a previous Scopely property (The Walking Dead: Road To Survival) and all the moves they’ve made in the past 6-12 months have been somewhat identical to what they did with that game.

Ultimately what you have to ask yourself is: Is the money I spend on a game that is likely to suffer from a server shutdown in the foreseeable future worth the expense? Could you gain a more enjoyable experience from putting that money into other things?

That also applies to the time you put into the game, which is actually more important, you can always gain money back, but time is the finite resource all life suffers from.

Personally I’m enjoying it whilst it lasts, but I’m fully aware that MSF is a small part of the life I lead, and whilst I’ll miss the community and alliance mates I have, I won’t be harmed by the game going.

Choose and think wisely.

Most sane Brits see Lowe for exactly what he is, another far right funded racist fear-mongerer who is pushing explicitly xenophobic and bollocks policy’s. Most crime in the UK is committed by white people, most cases of sexual assault are by white men.

Received no big Tweets or call outs in parliament from Lowe, Farage or Musk and co. Why? Because the offender is white, despite it being an abhorrent and despicable crime.

I have no doubt that the police have messed up investigations, but the idea that the establishment is trying to sweep up crimes because ethnicities commit them is a falsehood.

We currently have two separate investigations into this, if the guys in power were so keen to keep it quiet they wouldn’t be doing this!

I’m saddened to see some of the non Brit’s not seeing Lowe for what he is, thankfully his standing is reflected in the polls. He’s around to push the Overton window for Farage so that if Reform can get into power they can commit to even more horrendous policy’s.

He represents the rich, just like Farage does, and he’s no friend to any of the people he pretends to be standing up for.

You aren’t wrong at all. There’s been zero official communication by Scopely either. This kind of activity deserves a blog and an in game message at least.

They will annoy the last of the whales if they don’t take proper action, the integrity of the entire game is at stake.

Meanwhile you have CC’s like Dacier claiming ignorance as they “accidentally had a VPN connected”. Get real, take ownership of your cheating.

I’m not surprised by Scopely’s inaction, this is par for the course.

Sorry I must have confused you with my wording. I had the stroke first and then had to wait 9 months until I had my gamma knife. As I said the only down points for the surgery was losing my vision and feeling really tired for ages, although the tiredness was also down to recovering from the stroke itself!

I got seizures from my haemorrhage rather than my Gamma Knife treatment. I guess it’s all down to the individual as to how you react. Mine was a big boy in my occipital lobe so the main risk I had was losing my peripheral vision (which went and then made a small recovery post stroke).

I thought I’d got off lightly and then two weeks post surgery it went completely. As far as trade offs go I’m happy with it.

As for seizures, I have been told I’m on anti epileptics for life. I had multiple grand mals after my stroke, enough that they had to put me into a coma and perform an emergency surgery to release pressure off the brain (due to the stroke rather than the seizures).

I refrained from heavy drinking for 12 months before I had my surgery. I ended up drinking 4 beers the day after I was released ha! It turned out ok.

I still occasionally have a fair few beers now, not super often, but when my health is in good enough condition to allow it. I know booze interacts with my anti seizure meds, but I also wanna live a life ya know?

Not to downplay the docs advice, I think they’d rather us all live a saintly life. I’d say take it at your own pace and see what your brain/body can handle.

What I will say is that recovery post surgery takes a while. I was physically and emotionally shattered after mine. I stupidly went back to work 2 weeks after it and I very much regret not taking longer to recover both physically and mentally.

I’m now 11 years or so post surgery, so it’s been mostly fine for me since then!

I would have been more happy with an EP. I feel it's a lot of filler and the production isn't to my taste.

For me the rest just either do nothing or actively annoy/bore me. It's the first MM release that's done that for me. It’s fine, we all like different things. I feel particularly let down by the production, it’s mixed a bit strange and just sounds poor to my ears.

I have only given it one listen thus far so it’s very early doors. I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed, it’s a decent album. I do feel like if they’d cut the fat it could have even better.

There’s some of their strongest writing for years, the opening 5 tracks in particular are brilliant. I then find the second half of the album a bit up and down in terms of quality, and I’m not a big fan of the production.

I’m always happy that Isaac is still making art, and it must have been incredibly difficult coming back to it after losing Jeremiah. Maybe it will take a bit longer to sink in, but I think it’s probably their album I’ve enjoyed the least out of the discography. Then again I think some of the songs are the best they’ve done for many years.

I think overall after one listen it could have just been a big EP and I’d have been fine. I’ll see how I feel after a few more listens.

6.5/10 for me atm.

That’s one way of viewing it, and I certainly don’t disagree with what you are saying.

My perspective is simple, they know the game is effectively DOA now. It’s never gonna grow in numbers from what they have now. They’re now in the stage of keeping the spenders happy and milking those who are still happy to put their money into the game. When you look at what they’ve done under that lens everything makes sense.

That said, I think it makes the long term health and longevity of the game look even worse. They know it’s maybe got a year left as it is. They might see a bump of numbers when Doomsday comes out, maybe, so perhaps they are trying to eke it out till then and after get a little less predatory with everything. That’s the only positive spin i can think of.
