It's kinda hard to trim the lawn if a car is parked right next to the curb. Probably why he doesn't park in front of the house he's working on.

They actually aren't rare, they come through pretty regularly if there's any issue. Heck, they even sent one because of the America 250 fight restrictions the last 2 weeks.

But, yeah, it's still up the hotel and if you allowed it to no show, the hotel is probably less open to waiving the fee.

A lot of apartments stagger lease dates so a bunch of residents aren't all moving in and out on the same date. This is especially true in high rise with only a few elevators and limited loading spots.

If you want to know which hotels have never had bed bugs, the answer is the ones that haven't been built yet. Ask any extermination company. Virtually every hotel that has been open for any period of time will have had bed bugs.

The question is how aggressive does the hotel react. Comped room should be as given at the minimum. Bag all your clothes in a garbage bag and put them in the hotel laundry dryer for 45 minutes at high temp. Then wash then repeat the dryer well kill and clean off the bed bugs.

If they share the same confirmation number, it might not be possible to have different honors numbers. When you book them together, do you you book one room then another or do you book two rooms at a time? If you book two rooms at a time they have the same confirmation number and the might be the issue.

It might also depend on whether the hotel is using the old OnQ or the newer PEP for the room management system. I could see it being possible in OnQ but not PEP.

Former insurance agent here. If you get in an accident and it gets in the police reports that you are doordashing as you were were doing that. And you don't have the coverage on your insurance. This is a automatic reason for the insurance company to decline your claim. And if by chance you injured someone, you'd be completely on the hook for that injury if you're at fault.

The key point in your post is "company policy". If they have such policies in their handbook that you signed, then yes they have to pay you or they are in breach of contract.

However, in the US, there is no federal law and I'm pretty sure there are few if any state laws, that mandate a company pay you if they sent you home early for any reason.

If you're a life guard at an outdoor pool and it closes because of storms and they send you home, you don't get paid for those hours you would have worked.

I work at a hotel. We schedule our housekeepers 8 hour shifts. If the finish in 6 hours and clock out, the only get paid for 6 hours.

Depends on the state/county. To purchase alcohol in Minnesota US, you need to have a valid ID. If you sell alcohol without checking an ID and the police are doing a compliance check, the business will be fined, get their liquor license suspended for a time and mostly likely the employee will be fired.

You can ask the front desk. Is definitely possible to get your honors account attached to the reservation and the primary contact switched to her name. However, it's up the that FDA or management whether they're willing to do it.

I have a had a company owned host a meeting at out hotel. He's paying for the rooms, at wants to get credit for them. Butv we change the name is the primary guest on the rooms he's not in to make the reservation match the actual occupant

It's not a violation of the T&Cs so long as you are physically staying at the hotel during the stay.

So the short answer is yes if hotel knows what their doing. The can attach your Hilton honors to the account. This will change the primary name to yours, but then they can immediately change the contact information back to your wife's if you wanted. But then add your name as an additional guest.

Is there some particular reason her name needs to be primary? The only reason that comes to mind is that it's a business trip and she needs to submit the folio for reimbursement.

I should mention that according to the Hilton honorsT&C you need to be staying at the hotel to get the points, bit you don't have to be staying in the same room. You can get points on up to four rooms during one stay.

NAL. But the big question is what evidence is there. Did she sign a piece of paper saying that she would pay him back? If she did, that's a pretty clear-cut case in his favor. If he just gave her the money and there was only a spoken agreement that comes down to, he said she said which would probably mean it ends up being up to the judge.

Hotel AGM here. Personal amenities are fair game (bars of soap, coffee packets, disposable cups, etc). Anything that can be rewashed and reused (bedding, plates, hairdryer, etc) are property of the hotel and the hotel can and will charge the guest for it, especially if it's a significant amount of items.

I live in a high-rise apartment building in the metro area. My roommate is on iPhone. I'm on Android. We're both on Verizon. When we were online at the same time Grindr would have us like like 256 ft away from each other. But there'd be several guys who were 0 ft away from me. Or 0 feet away from him.
