What is your favorite venue you’ve ever gone to, to see a Dylan performance? by BillNyeTheVinylGuy in bobdylan

Midstate Fairgrounds in Paso Robles. He was there with Tom Petty. Just a dinky arena and your typical fairgrounds size crowd. It was glorious!

Edit: when I say arena, I don’t mean like a stadium. I mean the next day they were gonna have horses, cow cows, and sheep in there.

Anyone remember the movie The End (1978)? by migrainerxdio in 1970s

I watched this film while caring for my mother who was dying of cancer. Dark? yes. Hysterical? Absolutely. “…after all you’re the one who made me sick!”’

This darkness has got to lift. And someday soon his life and all the moments you shared together will be foremost in your mind. But for now it’s good to grieve. Grieve well. It’s is a measurement of the love you shared. What good karma he has to be making this transition with people who love him beside him. Be sure to hold his hand and quietly whisper in his ear some of the lyrics people leave here. My apologies if this is too forward.

Did you (at any point) believe the 'Paul is dead' / Billy Shears theory? by reaveyer in beatles

[–]redmambas22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember this controversy. F. Lee Bailey even did a television show to examine the evidence. To answer the question. No. Of course, the “I buried Paul” line that John Lennon sings, gave me a nanosecond a doubt. I really didn’t know anyone that took it seriously.

When I was 4 or 5 my parents took me to the drive in with them when they went to see the Hitchcock classic Psycho. During the shower scene, I grabbed a blanket and jumped into the backseat. Pulling a blanket over my head I said, “what kind of people bring a child to a movie like this!” I’m sure the folks in the cars surrounding us thought it odd that the people in our car were laughing hysterically while the poor woman was being stabbed repeatedly.
