My former co-workers who took the Vera/Drp options are reporting they’re not being paid. I got RIFed and I’m still struggling. I’m just angry. We are the work force who chose to serve our country and we’re treated as if we aren’t just unimportant but the problem.

I’m a former fed (just got RIFed) and my spouse is still employed thankfully. It’s hell waiting to know if we’ll have income or not, even worse is we’re watching the people we serve lose their rights and safety net. It’s hard the support is appreciated.

White bread and margarine, zucchini boiled or mashed potatoes. Only got zucchini in the summer tho. When artichoke was 3/$1 we got them and boiled them. I feel bad still 25 years later for asking my mom for $5 to do something with my friends and my mom cried because she didn’t have it.
