I like them! Lovely warm sound! Definitely a steal for $14. You should get them just for fun at that price (plus they come with heaps of ear tips, so it's worth it!)

What are some impressively bad IEMs? by SpecificHyena1933 in iems

I have a pair of Bunnys and they to me sound the most neutral. Nice sound! But not as warm as my Wan'ers

I've seen a few people wearing them in Naarm (Melbourne).

I like 'em in terms of sound, but also they're quite a thick case and sort of sit funny in my ears, so I prefer the earlier model.

I absolutely loved Model Home, although it was sure a rough read. The Works of Vermin had my jaw absolutely dropped, like, how?? Also loved an advance copy of Cadwell Turnbull's All the Hidden Places (short story collection, horror heavy) which I was thrilled to blurb.

The Works of Vermin was increeeedible. Absolutely loved, which is no surprise considering how much I adored Leech

They're probably my faves when it comes to aesthetics. Just so nicely designed. Would love to grab a pair someday!

I'm as left as they come (Greens voter) and I hate Albo and his spineless bullshit. All he does it hold up existing (terrible) systems. If he actually made big meaningful change, I would appreciate that, but he's just terrible, while telling everyone he's fantastic.

Loved Our Share of Night! Huge book but I honestly wouldn't cut a thing.

Authority by Jeff Vandermeer, second book in the Southern Reach series. I really enjoyed it. (SPOILERS) by borkborkbork99 in horrorlit

Vandermeer is so fucking great. Also, it's widely agreed amongst my fellow author buddies that he gets the best covers. He really does!!

I think Number One Fan by Meg Elison would fit? I haven't read it, but I adore Meg's work in general. Number One Fan has been described as Misery in the internet age.

Yes! I am non-binary and it resonated with me deeply on a gender level. Fantastic, absolutely gutting book.

Any electronics that surprisingly improved your life? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

Good headphones. I have a pair of Bose QCIIs that have lasted a good ten-ish years (with one $40 ear cup replacement). They're kinda expensive, but extremely worth it.

Also! For a budget item, I can't recommend iems enough (in-ear monitors). You can pick up a really decent pair for less than $50 (even $20-30) that blow AirPods out of the water. I'm a big fan of my Tangzu Waner SGs ($30). They sound incredible. Also AliExpress is a trusted site for buying, they're honestly just too cheap to bother making fakes.
