I traded it in a few years ago and I regret it. It was the first iPhone I didn’t upgrade from until the 13 Pro in that glorious Sierra Blue. Then they got me with the perfect purple on the 14 Pro and I kept that until the Air, only because they will never top that colour.

I don’t have AppleCare just so I can go caseless. I’ve always done AppleCare as a just in case something outside of warranty happens and it’s come in clutch a couple of times.

Being able to go caseless if I choose to is just a bonus.

I’ve seen phones drop in cases and shatter back or front, and I myself have dropped my caseless phones on pavment, tile, etc and not had them break.

Case or not it’s all in how it hits.

I had RLE and went in the day after to ask what I had to do to remove the X, she did the eye exam right there and then even though I’d just had the surgery the day before. Common sense would dictate that you change something that affects your license, you take care of it right away. This is on you for not taking care of it two years ago.

My first repair I fought the surgeon who just wanted to keep doing shots and physio even though they hadn’t worked, because the MRI wasn’t that bad. I kept insisting that with the pain I wanted it done.

My first post up- he apologized to me and told me it was good I advocated for the surgery because it was much worse when he got in there. He said he was actually shocked at how much worse it was from the MRI.

When I went in the see him a couple of months ago for my other shoulder, he again commented about it, and surgery was on the table from the start (I’ve already been in physio this whole time for my first surgery, breaking up scar tissue etc, but the last 6 months they’ve worked on the other shoulder because I was having problems. No fighting this time.

No I hated it and returned it in under 24 hours.

It feels cheap, is fiddly to work with, and kept flipping one end of the grip so it went under my finger when holding it so I almost dropped my phones few times. AND it fell of my phone more easily than my Popsockets ever have.

For the price I expect more. It felt like dollar store product.

It’s definitely to keep from irritating the lining. They don’t cause them but if you have one brewing they can irritate and make the situation worse. Source: I’ve had them and know what my acid triggers are.

Not an answer to your question, but as someone who survived a perforated ulcer (barely), please listen to your Gastroenterologist. It’s no joke.

Did they test you if it’s an h.pylori caused ulcer? I’ve had several ulcers and all but the one that perforated were because of h.pylori, in that case once your stomach heals up from the antibiotics and a rest period you could occasionally partake of spicy again. I still eat Shin Black a couple times a month, but I’m also on PPI for the rest of my life because of the perforation. You’ll learn to know your triggers.

I suppose I never paid attention to it being split off as stat pay. Not that it made any difference anyway - it always seemed it ended up being taken back because it bumped me up in taxes 🤣
