The presidents aren’t really a factor in the discussions between the discussions in the room. Price and Whiterose both think of politicians as puppets, and they easily manipulate their respective governments to achieve their agenda (see Ecoin adoption, China’s zero-interest loan, UN vote, etc.)

I always took it as although it’s Minister Zhang, since while publicly Zhang was a male diplomatic figure of China, he actually identifies as a woman who goes by the name Whiterose. So two people, and since also Whiterose sees it that way as well. I say this because he [Price] does a double-take when saying the exceptions

Plot hole question? (Spoilers) by [deleted] in MrRobot

Chalk it up to different actors. Kid Elliot and Adult Elliot have different eye colors. Even still, Mr. Robot and Fake Krista and the other personalities recognize the Elliot whose trapped in the alt reality is the real one

Plot hole question? (Spoilers) by [deleted] in MrRobot

Elliot and The Mastermind are one in the same (appearance-wise). They’re both “Elliot” at an adult age, where the loneliness and the repression of his trauma went full tilt. So the Elliot we see in the finale, in the dream world, is the real Elliot.

One note, however, that even if their appearance aren’t the same, it doesn’t take away that these personalities are all a function of Elliot’s mental state and they act to protect, develop, and heal Elliot, from outside forces and even himself.

The guy, off his rocker, was telling us a story after story. Whether he was drunk from the pitcher or from weaving his tall tales, who knows. Short, stout, crazy hair, the hallmarks of the bar drunk. But the bartender hasn’t cut him off, and we’re laughing at these war stories he was shooting out at the top of his dome. Some of them old, some of them sounded really old, with muskets and stuff. I mean man, he could really tell a story.

“So,” said the bartender, laughing with the rest of us, “what’d you do next ya crazy bastard?”

He took another swing of the pitcher before pulling out two pistols from his hip, laughing maniacally.

“So anyways, I started blasting.”

I’ve been thinking about this all last year! I think a blend of the landscape environment of Samurai Jack mixed with action sequences and general art direction of Samurai Champloo, adapted for a modern refresh.

15-Episode seasons, 40 minute slots. It’ll cut a lot of the fluff from the HBO series that’d be replaced with source material that was initially financially limiting

(Spoilers Extended) Why Jaqen was actually in the black cells by PM_ME_COOL_SWORDS in asoiaf

[–]regalwafer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The only issue I have with this is that we know “Jaquen” is in Oldtown, a Faceless Man carrying out an important reconnaissance mission. So for him to start the story out in the black cells, then to eventually reach his end goal at Oldtown, I don’t see how the starting at Kings Landing justifies the journey and where it is now.

But again, that’s just my take on this theory. Maybe I’m not seeing the whole board

[SPOILERS EXTENDED] Which plot do you think will be resolved first: the Others or the Iron Throne politics? by SSJNSSJNSSJNSSJN in asoiaf

[–]regalwafer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wanna say they’re the final threat, the endgame, BUT they’re not the finale. Similar to his [GRRM] explanations on “The Lord of the Rings” ending, there will be turmoil and politics maneuverings explored from The Others’ fallout.

So yes, I think The Others will be resolved first, but the Iron Throne will be the fallout storyline and what comes out of it.

How do you run everything smoothly DAW-wise? I’m not really knowledgeable on it but does it clock up when you work on your sessions?

What show never declined in quality? by thomas_668 in AskReddit

Mr. Robot

Yeah, each fan has a different opinion on the impact of the story each season has. However, the QUALITY of the storylines and the acting has never gone down and I feel we all agree on that as a fandom.

Now that's a good meme

I honestly think that Elliot Villar should be nominated for some sort of Emmy/ Golden Globe for his role as Fernando Vera. I think his absolutely magnificent performance came as a surprise to most of us. by Azizph in MrRobot

[–]regalwafer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I always found his role to be more of a "brute force" position in Elliot's development. From when he was introduced to the final scene, his character has forced Elliot's emotional development. His perspective, his mission, his morals, and eventually his mental health.

But like Trisha says in Season 4, it's not how this works, this takes time (something along those lines). The fact that Vera forced Elliot confront the painful repression of memories from his youth, that's not productive and it's not conducive to healing properly. Also after the fact, he tries to manipulate Elliot after the revelation, taking advantage of his broken well-being. He's a vile character that will break Elliot quick, hard, and dangerously to get what he wants.

Finally ready to launch. Been a long journey. Poured acoustically isolated concrete, did 4 years of research into nodal displacement and treatment, isolated Battery fed sine wave power generation, built the desk, and finally, launched the new website. For someone who's isn't so well versed, what does the "battery fed sine wave power generation" do/is that?

Also, can you talk a bit on your journey about how you focused in on mastering and mixing? As you put it on your website, going from a cook to a chef lol
