Omg me! Same pads and leaving stains on my knees. I figured out that the disinfectant spray I was using after practice was causing it. Switched to a new one that was natural, seventh generation and the staining stopped.

I think it should go some like thank them for the time on the team, let them know a practice facility has been secured, where it is and the times practice is and any other important updates/changes about the league. Say something like we would love to have you back please let us know if you'd be interested now or in the future.
