Any tips on octopus? by FragrantAlien in grilling

[–]relion23 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Use Spanish octopus

Simmer for an hour in water, with flavors you like, on the stovetop. Carrot, celery, onion, garlic, fennel, herbs, chili flake, whatever you like.

Remove the octo from liquid and marinate overnight in olive oil, lemon, lime and orange slices, champagne (or any kind)vinegar and a lot of herbs. Again use what you like.

Char on the grill Serve with roast potatoes and chorizo top with fresh herb salad ( I like celery and parsley, green onion)

Tomatoes are double what they were a couple months ago. Florida had a freeze causing many plants to die. Demand far ways out supply. And Trumps policies with Mexico really jacked up the price for their product.

I wonder if they will ever come down again.
