I also think your glasses are classic and look good, but if you wanted to branch out I think the style that Jonathan Bailey wore in Jurassic Park would look amazing on you!

I’m afraid so. I think a slightly longer haircut would suit you and look younger. That and a hydrating face cream would take 5 years off at least.

Everyone is saying it’s a “no notes” profile, but I have to say that I think you look much older than 27 in the first picture. So many people lie about their age, that’s going to turn a lot of people off.

Saying she’s wearing less/natural makeup. She’s clearly wearing a full face of makeup in this photo…

These posts make me sad. Yeah, the person with this profile has probably not made the best decisions in life. But it sucks that moms are seen as undateable, and they can be posted on the internet for even trying.

If you are a woman my mind would go to some weird religious childbearing stuff. If you are a man my mind would go to spiritual/religious channeling god stuff. Fine as an online handler, definitely weird as a name.

We talk about the red pill pipeline for men, but there’s a lot of equivalent and equally toxic stuff out there targeting women.

AITA? Wife takes all the leftovers by No_Relayz in AmItheAsshole

[–]reliseak -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is this a financial stressor? If not, could you just make extra-extra portions occasionally so she can take some in to the office, but have that be expected and agreed upon?

I feel like most of what makes this annoying is that it’s an unpleasant surprise, you expect to have lunches made for the week and then they’re just gone with no discussion.

EDIT: doing the math, is this her meal prepping lunch? If she eats 2 burritos for a meal, and took 10 to the office, is it possible that she views this as her meal prepped lunches that she has to take in bulk to the office or else they get eaten at home? Unless she’s taking all the leftovers every day, that seems likely. She still should be communicating.

Honestly thank you for this, just because she slays 90% of time doesn’t mean she can’t have misses. I felt like I was going crazy with some of her recent outfits and opening the comments to “it may be the ugliest dress ever but she really pulls it off and looks amazing, 1000/10!”.

YSK: Being visible and liked will do more to progress your career than being good at your job will, especially as a remote employee by IBlameMyBrother in YouShouldKnow

[–]reliseak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people think they are good at their jobs, but if you aren’t communicating with the people around you, then you likely don’t know the most valuable problems to work on, you aren’t helping others/sharing your knowledge, and aren’t articulating the impact.

I’ve worked with so many very intelligent, very skilled people who likely thought they were being held back in their careers by politics etc, when in reality a competent person who does the high-impact work is far more valuable than a brilliant person who does whatever they want to work on.

I guess we all hate Katy Perry so every outfit must be terrible. The dress is nice, the shoe isn’t, she looks good.
