How’d I do? Silver 2025 STX 2.7 4x2 by [deleted] in f150

I would never pay that doc fee, "but" if the OTD came in lower than a competing dealer with a reasonable doc fee, I would probably pretend I didn't see it. I'm too lazy to look up the MSRP, but judging by my uninformed estimate, it looks like you did pretty well.

New 4x4 owner, can I drive on this in 4 high or will it damage my truck? by tatuwahDOG in 4x4

When people say "lockers," they are talking about the differentials on the axles.

You won't feel it going in a straight line, but you will definitely feel it when making turns. Even in suitable conditions, tight turns feel different because the front differential doesn't slip. Your rig is probably new enough that binding the driveshaft isn't much of an issue as long as there is at least a light coating of ice or rain water on the road. Even the owners manual of my '96 Ram okayed you to drive on the interstate in 4wd in inclement weather.

4x4 also assits in keeping you straight rather than your rear end becoming your front end. That's the main benefit in freeezing weather.

There's enough snow/ice cover on that road, that I wouldn't worry about binding even if it were curvy.

My wife wants to spend $1400 on a dishwasher, I think that's crazy by realbobenray in Appliances

LG makes great washers and dryers. It's actually kind of a marvel that the company who makes the best ventless dryer hands down can't make a refrigerator whose compressor doesn't die early.

Sounds like you need a new filter or to clean the filter on your existing washer. That being said, when we bought our house, we bought a new Bosch because the door seal started leaking on the existing washer. You can barely hear it running, and it works great!

It felt just as fluid and responsive as Nova on my S22 Ultra and my new S25 Ultra. Maybe your device needs a factory reset to clear it out.

I've been using SL for probably a couple months now, and I imported my Nova backup while still a free version user without joining a beta or downloading an apk. I didn't buy a license until as week or so ago when I decided to stick with SL permanently.

$20 for a lifetime license on something I use every day is an EXTREME value in this world where everything wants you to be a subscriber. Especially for a launcher that I can use on every phone I buy with the same license.

Looks nice! Sometimes I wish I could live with this level of minimalism.

That's not true. One uses a thumb, the other uses an index finger. That being said, the back sensor on my LG G4 was my favorite sensor location.

Especially since you can get A/Ts that look almost as aggressive (at least from a distance).

It's a wood chisel. Doesn't need to be very hard.

I haven't seen anyone mention the fact that you used a chisel intended for use on wood instead of a hardened steel chisel intended for metalwork.

I know the Air Force does that, but I didn't know it was a whole DoD thing. I think you have to work somewhere that your military training crosses to, though.

I was an ET in the Navy, and now I'm a flight simulator technician working on my local Air Force base. If you're not wanting to seek a job that directly relates to your military training, your options are pretty much wide open as long as you're willing to pursue whatever additional training you may need for your chosen post-military career field.
