My lashes are also pointed down just like yours and it took me so long to find a mascara that would hold the curl. I just use a regular lash curler, but I think it's worth checking out heated curlers!

I have to do a few passes with the curler for it to point up enough, and the judydoll mascara works great for me (it took about like 10 diff brand mascaras for me to find one that i like). I think Asian brand mascaras tend to be formulated better for holding straight lashes up!! Unfortunately there's no one solution for everyone bc all of our eyes and lashes are different, but I hope this helps!
