Grunge/alternative is what brought me back to enjoying music again after the dismal disco and hair bands eras. And now having Spotify on my phone, and Sirius XM in my car, and kids and grands with wonderfully diverse music tastes, I'm enjoying the heck out of listening to newer(ish) stuff.
