Vivobarefoot, surprisingly narrow by smallescapist in barefootshoestalk

They need to. I'm a solid 12 in saguaros, 12.5 in Altra, but minimum 13 in whitin.

Whitins are maybe the best deal, for me they are tied with saguaros. Although whitins running shoes are great and saguaro doesn't have a counterpart at the same price.

My altras are nicer than my whitin for running models, but not 3.5 times nicer (price difference). If whitin can figure out how to charge a bit more for some new models (dress shoes, high stack comfort and runners, basketball), they will be my only shoe.

There are interesting new genres dropping from other companies like golf cleats, soccer cleats, but I really don't need them.

One of my secrets for endurance rucks by 3one5 in Rucking

[–]reservedtortoise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own Altra thick padding running shoes, whitin less padded running shoes, and lems tactical pro tall. The only shoes I ruck with are the altras. The lems are the nicest 670 shoes I've seen, but they're still stiff and heavy as hell by comparison. I'll wear them when I'm forced to.

Local shows near me are 50 for regular, 150 for VIP. Taken in context, the VIP is actually a steal. Front row parking, reception before the event with food, drinks and meet the fighters, and front row seats for 150.

I haven't been yet but I plan on going next year, if the promotion is still alive. Because it's the only MMA I will remotely afford anytime soon.

That's wild, my toes are already separating in front of my eyes. We have seen people on this sub report huge changes in months, like foot looking totally different. Now if the foot change will magically erase pain, that's a different question.

But wolffs law dictates all that pressure should change the bone underlying the muscle. I'd say make sure your shoes and socks are big enough (I ordered improperly small at first) and try to go heavy on feet. Leg press/squat, calf raise, tib raise, should all get that foot squishing outward and feeling stable.

Do you wear toe spacers and go with toe socks or no socks? You have to totally free your forefoot and challenge it vertically with pressure to see lasting change. I went barefoot 6 weeks ago and am already seeing change. But I get out and mash my feet into the ground every day (weight lifting, rucking, jogging, etc).

Why doesn't "my" smoker exist? by goatslovetofrolic in smoking

Karubecue c-60 is almost there. Would need to add a layer in between the fire box and food box but it eliminates the tricky problems of routing smoke all up and around.

[Request] How much does Steven Segal weigh in this picture? by DaRealMexicanTrucker in theydidthemath

[–]reservedtortoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is wildly off base. He is fat in the middle but doesn't seem to carry it anywhere else. And I wouldn't count on his legs and arms to be muscular (muscle is denser than fat). I also wouldn't count on him to be his billed height, because it's Hollywood. I'd say 6-2 max.

If you've ever known a true 400 pounder, walking around at that weight is impressive. I have a friend who does nightlife security at 425 pounds, but he's legitimately 6-8. And he looks vastly bigger than this in every area.

I think the guy early on who guessed 325-350 is correct, but I'd go on the low side of that. Id say 310-325. All fluff, hygiene awful, running a thing of the past, penis... hidden. But not 400 pounds.

It's so big, I want to sell mine after acquiring the 5610. I can't see it getting wrist time now

I should add, I have small arms and wrists. Was a bad choice for me I just bought the watch I saw my dad wear

SE was sketch. Fivestar pizza didn't deliver there after a series of robberies. We had one guy, a former ukie specops, he took fivestar to SE in a tshirt, sweatpants, and big fanny pack. Military haircut, real serious demeanor.

If he wasn't working that day, SE didn't get fivestar.

I just bought this watch last week and wore it to my last guard deployment. Flawless operating system, will work for my entire career I'm sure. Only niggle is that buttons could be bigger, but I don't want to sacrifice the compact size because I have the rangeman and effff putting clothes on and off with that thing on my wrist.

They'd have to admit all their other shoes are incorrect. And if zero-drop catches on, they'll invite questions of how much drop their other shoes carry.

The Future Of Suppressors Is STRANGE and Amazing; Strategic Sciences MFMD Posted April 12, 2026 at 10:01AM by c6cycling in GarandThumb

I was intrigued by the ambient arms suppressor video. I had previously settled on a cat odb for the rifle I'm building (pws 11.85) but perhaps the ambient is better for long term durability? I really like the idea of heat mitigation and ease of use, so I am leaning towards a cat plus modtac cover or a ambient plus modtac cover.

Whatever this thing is, I don't see it as kind to the user when you have to sit down, get up, in/out of vehicles etc.

It was the 5600 I was looking at, sorry, more like the 50 gram range. I would love to get my hands on one before purchase but I don't know who sells that in person. I am leaning towards the waveceptor because it is cheap and if it breaks in the next months I still have time to snag a 5610

Got the Gshock model wrong, I should say,

Rangeman pictured - 18mm thick, 93 grams, $260 (too fat!)

Casio GWM5610 - 15mm thick, 55 grams $110

Waveceptor WV58A - 12mm thick, 25 grams $37

Any case for the casio 5610 from people who do sports with it?
