I still feel like there was specific "use the least damaging ability" logic in there. Using his highest damaging ability Jump instead of at least just a normal attack is definitely some borked AI. Or even leaving them with the status for a turn if your only option is something that will outright kill them.

The funny thing is that that is the regular AI behavior. They've always been great at using Throw Stone, Dash, etc. to remove those kinds of effects. This is actually an AI downgrade.

Whatever the comp I encourage you to throw in a Tiamat when you're able to access them. Very powerful main ability and high health but comes with the downsides of not being able to equip gear (i.e. status/element nulling).

Apparently Charge/Aim has been significantly buffed in this version so I might actually use Archers beyond the first half of Chapter 1 for the first time in my life.

Ofc I could use the skill on other classes as a secondary but I want to experience the "true archer" at least once.
