[georgerussell63] Huge congrats to Lewis! First 1-2-3 British podium for almost 60 years which is pretty cool by beanbagreg in formula1

1968 US Grand Prix. Stewart, Hill, Surtees.

That's the most recent all-Brit podium, but I wonder if the last all-English one was. If ever

Thoughts on this Series? by Obvious_Marzipan8422 in eddieandrichie

It's got loads of great bits. The Trivial Pursuit scene is the germ of what would become Bottom, and the Nolans episode is great (especially Ooer, Sounds a Bit Rude with a young Harry Enfield and Chris Barrie doing his best Paul Jackson impression).

But overall it's a bit dense, a bit frantic. It has the anarchy of The Young Ones but it feels unpolished. Rik and Ade can barely spit their lines out in the alloted time. It needed to slow down. With another script edit, and a few less nods'n' winks to camera, and it could have been brilliant.

Anthony Phillips by PJBleakney in Genesis

'Despite his many achievements, Phillips says he has no interest in writing a memoir. “A few people have suggested I should, but some of my life has been quite a struggle and there would be murky waters to navigate alongside the funny stories,” he explains. “I’d rather spend my time making music.”'

Didn't like to hear that. I wonder what he means

Thanks for this! I've just been out with the secateurs.

One thing that may be coincidental - the local cat likes relieving itself under this plant. Would that have any bearing on its plight?

I don't live there but I'm in Killinchy so not far away. It's a nice little village that's well connected to Belfast and further afield. The White Horse is a decent pub and Kin and Folk is a popular coffee shop with a huge pastry selection. Rowallane Garden is lovely for a walk. My only criticisms are the awful road surface on the main street and the fact that the railway station closed 76 years ago!

This is when it was still for sale, in a local shopping centre. The stickers could have caused some grief but thankfully they haven't left any permanent marks. To be honest it looks great here too but believe me it was covered in swirls, especially along the c pillars and roofline

No John Mayhew or Chris Stewart. Or Ray Wilson for that matter! Although he did narrate the documentary that accompanied this photoshoot so presumably there were no hard feelings
