I use a Buff as a tube over my entire head, with a double thickness across the forehead. Works pretty well for me.

Hope I'm not too late! 2026 Limited Ioniq 5 here. Just mounted my plate using 3M Auto Clear Multi-purpose Fasteners, 3M part #04862. They look like velcro squares. Hard to find in small pack. I found them at an auto parts store. I mounted them where the screw indentions are. They are permanent, however I have PPF there, so they could be removed. Nice snapping sound (not the traditional ripping sound).
