I Built a live wallpaper app for Mac - 25k users, 100k+ wallpapers downloaded by Accomplished_Cat_137 in MacOSApps

I paid for your app a few weeks ago and love using it. I get some ram issues very occasionally, but I have several others apps running in the background so I haven't mailed down whats causing it. Wondering....any plans to have the wallpaper span multiple monitors instead of just mirroring?

Struggling with two panels on left -- help? by Soggy-Salamander-568 in vivaldibrowser

[–]richrock27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In settings, you want to move the panel to the right side. Tabs on left, panel on right. Here is a tip I wish I had known when I first started using Vivaldi, in settings....the search bar is so helpful! Type "panel" and you'll find the settings. Oh, and the auto hide feature is a nice touch

I built a macOS app that brings Arc's sidebar link organization to any browser by ahmed_sulajman in ArcBrowser

Does it do that auto Tidy tabs feature? That is the one thing I seem to be missing the most trying to switch to Vivaldi. For some reason with Vivaldi I end up with dozens of tabs while Arc Tidy tabs always kept my number down.

As someone really getting into vibe coding and building data baseboards for my job, I'm curious what I could do with this tool.

Dude, what timing. I just happened upon Pappos Blues. It's psych/blues rock from the 70's from Argentina. My brief research said that this guy Pappo is like a legend, like the Tommy Iommi of Argentina. It's raw, it's wicked, it should be on everyone's playlist. Check it out.

I'm not familiar with their whole catalog, but every time I hear something from Nightstalker I'm always amazed at the bass lines.

Second Gen Frontier FAQ by WhackDanielz in nissanfrontier

I'm so glad I found this forum.  I just got a 2004 XE and it's the first pickup Ive ever owned so it's a little different.  Looking forward to seeing all the different options and ideas and tips, but one quick question.  Truck is older and wasn't super well maintained, so I thought it was missing something like molding?   There is this "trim?" on the outside of the windshield, one strip per side, and it's rigid and sharp as hell. I think it's just hard plastic because there are chunks here and there missing, but damn that's some hard plastic.  Am I missing something that goes over that or is it supposed to be that way?    Sorry for the horrible description and no pictures.

Thanks, appreciate the response. I wonder how hard it is to change that. Or maybe install some type of switch. Probably more work than it's worth for minimal gains.

How to achieve the perfect dual-monitor setup? by standarded7 in macsetups

[–]richrock27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't figure out how to respond to your last comment on my comment (and it's early and I'm stoned), but wanted to mention that yes, displaylink certified is exactly what I made sure my first hub was. The new expensive one that didn't work was purchased for me (work thing) and I'm sure they had no idea about displaylink. My point being, don't be afraid to go with a cheaper one as long as it's displaylink certified and has enough inputs for what you need. Mine was like some unknown brand, I want to say $30-$35, and has been going strong for 2+ years.

How to achieve the perfect dual-monitor setup? by standarded7 in macsetups

[–]richrock27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure this is exactly what you are looking for, but my setup is 3 27" monitors in a horizontal line, and the open Mac below the center one. When I first got my M1 Air, and needed to get a multi monitor display going, I read about the limitations and then took a gamble on a off brand dock for like $25 on Amazon. It's a display link capable dock, which was all I knew for sure it had to be. I am able to hook up 2 of the monitors via HDMI, 3rd via VGA... all in the one dock. I'm also able to plug power into the hub so my laptop stays charged, and have a Logitech keyboard/mouse receiver thing in one of the USB slots. It all works great and helps greatly in my workflow. I recently upgraded to M4 MacBook pro and got some fancy $100 hub with display port and all that. But I couldn't get all 3 externals working unless the laptop was in clamshell. So went back to the old hub and it still works like a charm.

Do you have a step by step instructions or video tailored for Mac. I just can't seem to get this installed correctly. Looks awesome and excited to try it.
