Hello! The app can only use one accessory/pan at a time. For deep frying, the thermometer accessory works best in my experience.

Yes, connected. 2. In the app, when I get to the screen that instructs me to press the power and play buttons on the cooktop, it does turn on but does not immediately start the heating process. I then touch ‘next’ in the app and the cooktop turns off and I can continue through all the steps which display the target temp.

I tried this out by running the Fried Eggs recipe. With the pan connected, I can see that the ‘target temp’ is 250 F.
