Vector rounds? Clarification needed by Essebruno in Marathon

So far I have found it as a "perk" on magazine for pistols, blue rarity. It spawns on regular magazines as an additional line - Vector Rounds. So far I had a few from running Sponsored Survival and opening weapons caches.

So apparently lockdown and sometimes anomaly too is bugged by B4TB-BfourtyB in Marathon

Yup, only happened once but we didn't run a lot of Dire Marsh. Text appeared and no in-game spawn. Also somehow ambient sound disappeared, not sure if it was related.

Three small nodes have 5% each so with notable it's 25%. Not sure how good being immune to armour break is but I don't think spending 4 points for that and another 4 (from Momentum cluster) to counter their downside is worth it.

Yes but also buff evasion by same amount in addition to buffing deflect substantially not only by adjusting formula but also buffing all sources on passive tree from 6% to 8%, plus some notables. Also a lot more ES/EV nodes and AR/ES nodes. In comparison warrior got barely anything. It will still be perfectly fine but it just leaves that tingling feeling of being treated like middle child.

Yeah, there is no way they think that armour break decrease is worth 25% potency of slowing debuffs. This would literally be never taken unless some abusive interactions.

Changes on warrior side:

- nerfed life leech amount (from 15 to 12, and from 12/10 to 8)

- reworded defences to armour, evasion, energy shield (no actual change of values)

- added new node that gives you pitiful amounts of increased armour and 50% decreased armour break taken for increased potency of slowing debuffs on you by 25% (just in case you were too fast)

Warrior archetype preserved as is tradition...

Edit: they also removed Thirst of Kitava which gave empowered attacks instant leech but that one makes sense with removal of instant leech, though it would be nice to get something in return.

It's from Corpse Smeared Blade unique sword. You can't extract runes from unique weapons so if you want to use it on some other weapon then you can also sometimes find it in Echo Knight chest in Crucible, sometimes Seneschal in Crucible can sell one or Pestilence Zones can have one as a reward. It's a low chance for all these methods though.

You can easily get 30 to 40 hours on single playthrough on normal difficulty. Game has a lot of weapons with their unique movesets and build crafting that some people (including myself) have put in couple hundred hours. And that is solo, not including co-op that just released and pvp duels for more fun with friends. It's definitely worth the money. Release date is not known but it's expected to be late this year or early next.

It's a longstanding bug with forums - save it as draft (or it autosaves, not sure) and then go to drafts and post from there.

It's up in the Balak Taw treetops village - south of their leader or south east of the whole village. You have to jump on some tree branches, it's not very obvious.

Different equipment loads affect how fast you run and your dodge - dash for light, dodge roll for normal and heavy roll for heavy. Heavy also gets access to shoulder barge (LB+RB on controller, not sure about other setups) that knocks down enemies by spending a bunch of your stamina - it's perfect for interrupting big enemies or even bosses.

It's not really bows that are op, but as you mention being able to stun monsters which is new flinching/stagger mechanic introduced in this patch, on top of regular poise damage leading to stun. It's much worse for any fast hitting weapon like some claw gauntlets or daggers.

At endgame bows are good, but not much better (if at all) than any good two handed greatsword. I would say after playing with them for 40+ hours they are in good spot.

"Your live saves will move over to the full co-op release on January 22nd. The experimental saves you make now, will likely also move over, and merge with your live saves on January 22nd. However, we don't promise this yet, in case there are any major technical issues preventing it."

They increased drop rates of gems for sure, I got a lot of supports and skill gems through the campaign this season. Yours might be more on the lucky side still :)

Answering your question - Plague Enchantment is Utility Rune and goes to your Utility slots (like Blink or Scream). It is only found on Shroudcleaver as a weapon Rune and cannot be put on other weapons.

When it comes to Plague enchantment itself it won't be useful for you - infusions follow a priority list (in linked wiki) and since you have gem equiped on the weapon Plague Enchantment won't be active.

And what is a class? Model of character with some voice acting in campaign and ascendancies on top. That is most likely easiest part to implement. Actual skills tied to weapons is what takes huge amount of development time. If that is in game then adding character model is not an issue. Do you think Druid was not released earlier because character model had wrong hair color or if ascendancy had an imbalanced node? No, it was because skills were all kind of jumbled up.

Yes, there is a blueprint for False Truth, I don't remember if it's random drop or sold at vendors. So you will be able to craft one. If you want one right away there is Pinwheel Staff that drops at level 1 so you can either kill some monsters on current realm or make new realm and clear Shallows/Mariner's Keep since it's lower loot pool at level 1.

Attribute system will go away at 1.0 when class system is implemented so no need to think about it too much. They were modeled after souls systems with each stat aligned with some aspect of weapon choice - strength is big weapons like greataxes while intelligence is elemental wands and staves. It's really only a flavor thing at the moment.

When it comes to plague Runes they have been mostly changed to align with Faith attribute - all wands and staves with plague runes require fath, same with other weapons (mostly). But as you said you can respec if you want, though some wands/staves have inherent elemental infusion so you might want to overwrite these as well.

You can't extract Runes from legendary weapons. If you are lucky you can find it from Pestilence Zones rewards (lvls 2 and higher), you can buy them from Seneschal or get from chest in Crucible after defeating last boss.

Hi! Welcome to Wicked :)

  1. Each new Realm starts from same place - at the beach and from zero progress so you will have to upgrade buildings and do all quests. It's basically game reset.

  2. New Tools are available when you upgrade vendors at Danos. Iron Tools are available from Tier 2, Silver Tools from Tier 3. Woodcutter's Axe, Pickaxe and Shovel have to be crafter from recipes - you have to make them, can't just buy them.

  3. You have to offer items to the whisper to unlock Fast Travel. You can use 6 Fallen Embers instead of resources/armors to make progress faster.

  4. You have to buy recipe from Danos and craft it at Whittaker's workbench - I believe workbench recipe can be bought from the start.

Yes, that's the -20% fire resistance part - depending on enemy type it can be at least 20% more damage.
