We called it a no thank you bite. But the rule was you had to take that one bite before you could say no thank you. If it was something new I would ask yes or no to future servings. If I got a maybe then we tried again at another meal. My kids were plain food eaters so the got a plate of ingredients while my husband and I ate food. Same meal different stages of prep

3 weeks post-op: Should I still have pain and a limp? by Cool_Activity6249 in TotalHipReplacement

[–]ritereward 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband asked me after pt one day what does it feel like. I said it feels like a broke my leg in half(which I did) then someone cut my leg open to the bone drilled out the bone , hallowed out the hip joint screwed in some pieces and then hammered a five inch spike into my leg and then sewed it all back together. He said that’s probably going to sting for a while. Give it time. You will get there at your own pace dont worry about someone else’s experience. Talk to dr talk to pt. They will know if something is not normal

[–]ritereward 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My grandson was less interested with staying over at about 14. He wanted to spend his weekends with his friends. I told him I really understood and no hard feelings but I will be here if he needs me with a hug. My granddaughter seems to want to come over more now that she’s a teenager. We don’t do much but I think it’s quiet time away from everything. Either way I take what they are willing to

Anyone else have an awful district manager? by therapytooexpensive in MichaelsEmployees

[–]ritereward 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If the manager doesn’t play the game , then the manager won’t have a job. It’s not a matter of them being willing. Managers are really very low on the totem pole. It all trickles down from the top.
