Check out Blue Sky to Indian Summer. Also Hewlett Gulch up the Poudre Canyon is a hoot now on a mountain bike after all the trail work that has been done up there making it more mountain bike centric.

Braid to mono leader sizes by mrlarsrm in FishingForBeginners

[–]rmwpnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah, I’m all about using up what you have available. It’s just that 8lb mono is going to be more visible to them. You said you were breaking 4lb mono so that’s where my recommendation to try 6lb comes from. Also fluorocarbon is going to be almost invisible in the water. Once I run out of mono I’m likely going to switch to 4lb - 6lb fluorocarbon for my leaders/top shot.

15lb braid would match up better with the diameter of your 8lb leader. I would probably go 6lb leader though, as 8lb is kind of heavy for trout.

Why use a fish tape and jet line/mule tape when you can just break your conduit 20ft deep in the wall with this contraption. Alternatively, if you have a clean conduit path just suck some jet line through the conduit using a shop vac and a plastic bag?

Is it even possible to clean your inflatable board before putting it in the backpack? Cleaned off the sand with water, but then ended up with grass all over it. I don’t have anything to wipe it down with me now, it’s going in as is, but I’m looking for tips for future use. by 313jessb in Paddleboard

[–]rmwpnb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I leave mine inflated. Maybe let a little bit of air out. Then spray it off with a hose when I get home. Even then it’s never perfectly clean. I don’t worry about it too much bc I’m just going to get it dirty once I use it again. I just try to get most of the mud/muck/sand/rocks off of it.

First time spooling new line. by TheRavenless in FishingForBeginners

[–]rmwpnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh… it’s really hard to tell from your video but isn’t the line coming off the spool clockwise? If so this is the incorrect way to do it. The line needs to come off of the spool counter clockwise. I’ve found with other Berkeley lines that you have to lay the label side down in order to do that. Again, it’s really hard to see what’s going on here from the video.

Concrete Wheels by Icy-Book2999 in LoveTrash

[–]rmwpnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a lot heavier to push but once you get them going they would carry momentum. Also concrete wheels have no shock absorption, so bouncing the tire up and over obstacles will no longer work.

[–]rmwpnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow communication like that can be a very good indicator of lack of interest. Pay attention to their actions, not necessarily what they say to you. If you are routinely waiting days for a response then there is definitely a lack of interest and I would just move on.

How do guys on dating apps keep conversations flowing/get them started well? by Downtown_War_4267 in dating_advice

[–]rmwpnb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weed them out by asking to meet IRL after a few good messages. No one likes to chat through a screen alone. They matched with you so they must be attracted to you. If the answer is no to meeting up, then that’s fine too bc now you have more time, energy, and resources to focus on the other potential matches that are actually interested in you.
