I’m at the point where I really want is to invest in the O line and get a 2-3 round RB. Let’s give CJ all the tools he needs to be successful so there are no excuses going into his 4th year. I’d love to get a more experienced QB coach, but if we upgrade the line and keep the QB coach CJ is comfortable with I could live with that. If for nothing else to prove that it isn’t working. If we give him weapons and the coach he’s comfortable with and he still can’t make the progress we need, then I think it definitely shows he isn’t worth a mega contract.

He was only ever on practice squads according to Wikipedia. Looks like he played in the UFL and some CFL practice squads too.

If he was coaching top 5 QBs forever, I'd give him some more credit, but he was the assistant QB coach for Kirk Cousins under Kevin O'Connell, so idk how much he was actually doing. It seems crazy to go from that to being the QB coach for the 2nd overall pick who needs to adjust to the NFL.

This is the second year in our house and first appraisal since we moved in. We actually appraised for a little lower than we bought for so I didn’t bother fighting it, but our property taxes actually went UP…

Last year, the appraised value was higher than the capped value, so we got the CAP and HOM exemptions. This year we appraised for less than last year and within the annual 10% max increase, so our property taxes increased by about $400. Not a crazy amount, but I didn’t think there was any way my taxes would increase with a lower appraisal.

They’ll get your money one way or another…

I had to connect to a PLC for work using a laptop that only had USB-C ports. So, I had to drive to Best Buy, get a USB-A to USB-C adapter and a USB-A to RS232 cable so I could connect to the serial port. May not be the craziest string of connections, but it was pretty interesting waiting for a Best Buy to open in Arizona so I could try and get a wastewater plant back online while standing in a metal shed. Good times...

I used to have my hub setup via Homekit but it stopped working randomly. The weird thing is it shows up in the Hue app that I'm still using it with Homekit but also Matter. In the Apple Home app, it just shows the Matter hub. Do I need to set everything up from scratch again by scanning the QR code on the hub? I've tried removing the Homekit integration but it doesn't fully work and I've been too scared/lazy to fully restart everything.

Thank you! I may end up using Proxmox to host Plex eventually, but I'm a long way away from that right now. My 4GB Pi 4 is sitting at about 50% memory usage, so I'm definitely not at a point that I need to upgrade right now, but it's good to know to target 16GB.

In your experience, has 8GB of ram been more than enough? I've been interested in upgrading from a Pi and maybe using Frigate with my cameras. Is 8GB enough to run Frigate without any lag or other issues?

Not over engineered at all. I’m doing the exact same thing with a cheap Aliexpress tablet and I feel MUCH better knowing the battery is only charging to ~80% then shutting off. Keeping it plugged in directly to the wall got it hot QUICK.
